OK, I will continue with my very interesting AAR [:D][8D] I played scenario till turn 12. Elmer did made some
very interesting moves which you my dear readers (yes, both of you [;)]) will soon find out in the Europa 1947 AAR....

Rat Patrol From Fort Konigsberg Turn 12

It was lazy saturday morning on German airfields near peacefull town of Aleppo in Syria...
Oberstumbafuhrer Gerd, chief of airfield was talking with leutnant Joseph Goebels Jr in his office : ".....My dear Joseph, I don't like that. Due to heavy fighting in the south there is not a one soldier present in the town of Allepo, they are all sent to the south... What if for instance Americans or British and their para devils jump behind our lines and land exactly in Allepo?"
Joseph "Nothing we will just scramble and took off to the nearest empty airfield of the TOAW erm... our operational map...."
There was a buzz over radio "bzzzzzt..... bzzzzzzzt...."
Radio operator run to the Oberstumbafuhrer Gerd "Sir, we have some American prisoners here, they are from the US 2nd Corps, 17 Airborne Division. They are telling us that their whole division will be soon in Aleppo! They are very near and they are marching onto the town! Sir, what we should do????"
Gerd "Nothing, just SCRAMBLE FAST WE MUST TOOK OFF TO THE NEAREST TOAW ERM... TOWN AIRFIELD NOW. Pronto."

This will not be easy as I have commited most of my reserves, I have still plenty but this is not pleasant move from Elmer.

Meanwhile in Beyrouth there was activity in the harbor... For a couple weeks three Italian fleets have been stationed here and they are sorting out against enemy ships with great success....

Admiral Commodore 64 Giovanni Alberto: "All right, all to the stations! Gentlemen, PREPARE FOR ACTION! We will destroy American US Fleet today. It is Carrier Task Force but without planes, they were destroyed earlier by us also. It is American Task Force 14.1, US 5 MAC.
But as you know this is just a finishing blow because we have already destroyed many of it's ships... So this is just a last act of this American fleet. They are going to the bottom of the sea.
And after that we will bomb some airfields near the coast and took off to try to destroy British and American and Free French Fleets near Gibraltar and Lisboa. They are shelling our positions and around there our fleets are short ranged and badly damaged and in port. We have two range 2 fleets so that is crucial for initial fight on the sea...."

Meanwhile there was a top Wehrmacht conference taking place in Berlin and King Leopold III, German Emperor was speaking with his top generals..... Oberkommando Der Wehrmacht.

"Gentlemen, we are mostly holding our lines, but we have some unpleasant landings in our rear and also we are slowly but surely approaching that time when we will have no reserves to send. In general we are already overstreched and overcomitted. Yes, we got those VolksGrenadier Divisions with 40% in their erm... training and they are slowly filling up, we will commit them but that will not be enough... Is General Silvanski here, he is in charge of our Replacement Army....Are you saying that we will be penalized because we are good in defense and Allies will get tons and tons of new units hehe?

General Silvanski just said "Sir, maybe you will be surprised but in any way I think that it is much better to bleed Soviets to standstill, we have just destroyed one whole Soviet Corps with one good placed BARRAGE! Imagine this, only with our guns. [:D]
And if we could repel invasion in France then we have a chance....

And meanwhile US paratroopers are again disturbing peace and quite in occupied Portugal and Spain. We already destroyed 82nd and 101st elite US divisions and many regiments...Here in the picture some rangers and one Hq, 2nd Rangers and US 5th Corps landed near Lisboa. Here I have many divisions resting after occupation of Portugal and we will of course destroy those intruders....[:'(]

After I have sunk ALL three Soviet Fleets near Murmansk American General Elmer has sent one full marines divisions to his Soviet friend ally [;)]

My defenses of Normandy and France are almost, but just almost ready. Notice SS Das Reich, pride of the German Wehrmacht.
When Panthers fill up slowly it will have 350 Panthers!

Turn 12. Is invasion coming or Elmer will wait still hmmmm that is the real question. He have already assembled strong force in UK.

Turn 12 situation on Eastern Front near lake Onega, NE of Leningrad. Soviets did gain some ground but situation here, I think, are mainly stabilized, as one whole Eastern Front. But I have sent many reinforcements, without them front would collapse.
Elmer is driving troops like a mad raging bull, red status, no matter just charge with appaling losses to him. Also, my arty is doing some good damage every turn. In one barrage near Astrakhan I evaporated one whole Soviet Corp with arty only [:D]
He will, I hope exhaust himself. Some of his units are on shallow water and flooded marches, maybe some will be destroyed after thaw... they are cut off.

Here is an enlarged part of the front. Those Red Units were advancing during winter on frozen shallow water and flooded march on Lake Rubynsk but according to manual they would be displaced to dry land or drown if not possible when earth start to thaw and temperature start to rise

Soviets landed 2 Airborne divisions near Moscow, Kolomna area of course we will have to destroy them asap. So we attack. They tore some rail, we will have to repair that. Kling Klang.

At Wolfsschanze there was top conference and everybody were there and King Leopold The Third, successor to the Reich's throne was questioning his general about latest situation...

General Mackensen stood up and took word "...As you ordered Your Highness I have compiled latest data and information about situation on all our fronts and will now present it to you....

This is Astrakhan area. Astrakhan is indeed my fortress. Very hard to conquer Astrakhan. And of course like on many other places we are shooting with all our guns, we try to concentrate guns and also shoot target with bigger density with very good results....

Generally on Eastern Front I think that we are winning this horrendous battle of attrition with Russians and we are nearing a point point when they will exhaust themself into attacks onto our fortified lines... But, maybe with Spring they will attack with greater strength... And they simply don't want to stop, they will kill themself but attack...

For example Soviets pushed me from Gorky and this area and they are in attack here in big force....
