As an aside, Italy did not perform well during World War II certainly, but their potential military strength seems still a bit under-represented. For instance, the devs could have at least put either/both the Littorio and/or Vittorio Veneto battleships on the production queue - which they have done for many notable capital ships. Slightly boosting Italy is also better for the game balance, too, likely.

Moreother due to the lack of fuel that italian navy suffered all long the war, heavy naval units (BB, CA, CV if necessary...) should'nt go further western Sicily, and should'nt go in the red sea if Suez become under Axis control.
