You know what they say about contract law, that if there is vagueness in the contract that the author of the contract is held at fault. Sounds like there was some vagueness in the contract, or some very small fine print. [:D]

A lot of cleaning up going on right now. Paul wants to go to two-day turns and I have never done that. Any comments and what players feel on that subject? Cannot do it soon as I am, as noted, cleaning up and taking all the dratted dot bases in the DEI and elsewhere. Anyway, could use some thoughts here.

A STF of 4 DD track down a group of PT survivors from the Philippines and sink the six PTs in a running gun battle starting near Jolo.

In a major development, Malang falls ending resistance in Java. That is a pleasant development. Had hit it with a pair of BBs last turn. Kept them there to strike again and added an LBC and 2 CA to the mix hitting the troops there. A shock attack net 9-1 results and nearly 9,000 POW enter the Japanese camp. NICE! The two IDs there are in great shape and can go elsewhere.

Land at Bandjermasin.

In an unpleasant development, the normal daily milk run into Changsha by Japanese bombers was quite rudely interrupted by a unit of the AVG. My only LIZ Daitai took it on the chin losing over a dozen planes. The SALLY Sentai coming in right behind it lost about 5-7 planes. VERY RUDE! Have already beaten up the AVG ONCE in this game. Looks like I might to do that again.

Having to clean-up and re-arrange things (as well as my playing mindset) since I am now facing a different opponent. Am really looking forward to this match.

The semi-truce is now off after this turn.

If you are not comfortable with doing so, then I would not do it. It is different, especially with repeated attacks since the attackers can get trashed on the second day.
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing! :o

I suggest we start two day turns after the jap invasion bonus(but switch back in difficult or technical situations).

Indian Ocean

CarDiv2 makes its presence felt near Madras. Having not been seen, the enhanced carrier division appears within strike range of Madras and finds a host of Allied shipping.

No planes fly in the morning (CRAP!!!) but an afternoon strike (42 Zero and 24 Val) sinks two small TK and PC while the major blow falls on Madras with 26 Zero and 76 Kates hitting the Port. Nine AK and 1 AKL are smacked. No Japanese planes are lost.

Japanese Raiding TFs ply the sea seeking prey. At Jaffna a CA and 3 DD find and sink an AKL and AK.

China
Kweilin is Shock Attacked and just barely holds on in the face of a 3-1 assault dropping Forts to 0.

Luichow is hit the same day yielding another 3-1 dropping Forts to 2.

This is a turn where Dai Nippon strikes anywhere and everywhere on the board.

Indian Ocean
Over in the IO multiple STF bag shipping from Madras to the tip of Ceylon. Two STF sink a pair of AKs and another pair of AKLs. CarDIv2 backs slightly eastward towards Akyab but remains poised to lunged.

Tahiti Region
Regular comings and goings are interrupted by several Japanese STF. About five hexes NE of Tahiti a CA-CL-DD TF sinks an AO and PC. Nearly 200 miles north of that, a lone Japanese DD attacks three large AKs hitting them 9--11--13 times before running out of ammo and heading home. The big show is 5 hexes SE of Tahiti where a Raiding TF of 3 AMC and a DD run smack dab into the American carrier Yorktown! AMC vs. true warships is never a good thing. An AMC is sunk during the fight and then two more are crippled by Helldiver DB in the afternoon phase. Bet Paul had a small heart attack here!

Penrhyn Island is captured by an SNLF unit and in its surrender, a squadron of PBYs is destroyed. Good work!

Port Moresby
The reason for KB hanging around for so blasted long manifests itself as an Invasion TF appears. Prior to the landing starting the afternoon, three BC BLAST PM causing 772 Casualties and knocking out 22 Guns: NICE! Port and AF hit hard as well. The Landing occurs bringing in an ID, Brigade, and Engineering unit. An Aussie Brigade and six-seven other units hold here. Shouldn't take too long...

China
Kweilin is taken by a 2-1 Shock Attack inflicting over 6,100 Casualties upon the Chinese.
Liuchow falls as well to 4-1 Shock Attack yielding 5,100 more Chinese Casualties.

Nice little twin victories there!

Very busy day for Japan.
