2nd Half of July. German troops exhausted and Luftwaffe's bombers in bad shape after the "incident of April". Slow grinding into France. OKH not sure if it can sustain it.

And two weeks latter, we can see a small breakthrough in the North-West. But too little, too late, and not really in the right sector. OKH is afraid this might be leading into a repeat of the dreaded WWI scenario.

At the end of September, British corps are holding the Somme. Exhausted German armors are trying to bypass but will fall short of Paris before the weather turns for the worse.

With the coming of the rain, the German high command states a coup in Berlin and overthrows the government for "irresponsible adventurism endangering the Nation". An immediate cease-fire is ordered. The rest will be in the diplomat's hands...

Apologies to those following the AAR. I goofed-up in April with a big mistake that I could not recover in time from and obviously the game is not worth continuing. Even if France falls in 1941, chances are that Germany will not survive pass 1943 in the shape it is now. On the good side, Italy is doing quite well...
