I always get this message when trying to update, any ideas why?

I downloaded the update, but would like to fix this issue...

Just an FYI, in the Scenario Editor the Event - Action - Message POPUP window is coming up behind the screen. So you have to minimize the program to edit them.

EDIT: Well after two (2) reboots and an outright shutdown of the computer for about an hour, all is working fine now (a bit slow but big scenario). Before I reported this I did shut down and reopen the program twice and rebooted the PC twice. I'm going to stop reporting stuff because I don't know what a shutdown did that a reboot would not do??????! [X(][8|][:)]

In relation to my post above. Now it's doing it again. So something looks to have broken with the Message Editor with this build.

Tried to recreate this but its working for me. If it does get put behind the main screen, you can use Alt + Tab to cycle through windows.

I had something like that happen often some time ago (year + and also with cmano ver), but it stopped happening about a year ago after they made some tweaks for complaints about it around then, and it never came back thank god. For me it wouldn't just appear 'behind', though that happened as part of it, but it wouldn't actually draw on screen, like it was getting stuck on initialization. The trick when it did that for me is going to task manager application view and triggering a minimize\restore, and on the main window, then it would draw itself (or if I waited long enough like minutes.. eventually it would appear). No idea what was causing it, it was random, some days it would happen with just about every attempt, and yet sometimes I could go days without it happening, then around last spring it just stopped ever happening (/me knocks on wood), and man do I hope it never comes back cause it was frustrating. Sounds similar, and primarily would only happen with scene title\description message editor\side briefing, and more rarely but after long playing sessions the shift-f1 dialog. So if you're is just the behind issue, count yourself kind of lucky. Might want to see if anything else running in the background when removed from the equation causes it to stop for you.
