Careful Alfred. He'll be running for President next.

Understand where you are coming from.[:)]

However, not really a factor for me as I hail from a different jurisdiction; one where no Presidents sit at the apex but monarchs/Governor-Generals do.

Are you Autistic or Asbergers or something?

I don't know the location of your thread oh great one sorry. I've done plenty of searches and reading of threads for mini subs. Stop acting and presuming you know everything about everything and everyone oh great one. So many people call you a pompous sanctimonious ass and you never listen. How did you ever graduate from Special Ed?

I just came back to WITPAE after ten years. You have to learn the game all over again. Here is a screenshot of the Transport TF at Truk. I don't know what other details to offer. Can someone else besides this asshole
respond. PLEASE STAY THE F OUT OF MY THREADS ALFRED

It isn't just my posts you can't find, you can't find any relevant dev posts either. On any question you post. Which makes you very incompetent at searching. Furthermore you consistently misread what is printed in the manual or what is presented on screens. How do you explain that characteristic of yours?

BTW, your screenshot shows other conditions not met, so I fully expect you to post the exact same question in the not too distant future.

Oh, and there really is very little about AE that I don't know the answer. The basic problem people like you have, and you aren't Robinson Crusoe in this regard, is that my knowledge of AE just paints you as not being competent, a state of affairs your ego can't tolerate.

This is the answer then. I loaded from Truk not Japan. I don't see that part in the manual?

That may or may not be the only answer in this specific interest, the details of which you still have refused to provide. If there are other relevant conditions for creating barges not met in this instance, how long before you again pose the same question?

As always you refuse to retrieve my answer on a subject. My October 2015 post is the most detailed, consolidated in a single location, answer you will find. In stead of retrieving it, as I had suggested above, you engage in your usual praxis of trying to learn how to game the code. No interest in doing your own study, learning the rules and logically deducing how they apply to each individual set of specific circumstances. No, far easier to fail to read what is actually presented on a screen or a document when you can just sponge off the kindheartedness of others doing your work for you. A task made very difficult by your constant omission of relevant information when you post your silly questions (the most recent being can a non dive bomber perform like a dive bomber - which is similar to someone asking why don't buses race at the Indy 500, after all they have wheels and engines just like the racing cars which compete in that race).

Considering you have owned AE for more than 10 years, you really haven't learnt anything. How did you graduate from high school?

Well, well, well . . .

Violations of forum rules.

Someone tries to help you and you decide to insult that person. So I won't bother to try and help you any more and I suggest that other people do consider the same thing.

You are the one who violated the rules. You are not good. Maybe you should get a week off from the forums to read the manual.

You have 19 midget subs and 48 barges available. There are none in production or refit.

Ok thanks which goes back to my original question if they are available why can I not activate them from my transport TF?
We need a screenshot of your TF.

Maybe your ships are too small to carry a barge.
A whole bunch of small cargo ships will not do it even if they have 10,000 total supply.

I would say don’t use any AKL’s

Don Bowen

“...have ships big enough to carry a PT and having enough supply points to represent a PT on board”

In the game the PT boat and barge carry is abstracted by using supply
but you still need ships large enough.

Thank you for the link kind sir. Found this in there which explains everything. Never saw it in the manual. Funny even Don Bowen did not know. Guess I'm not an idiot.

Next time some one tries to figure this out I will point them in the right direction and treat them the right way. No one is going to ruin my love of this game or this forum.

ORIGINAL: Don Bowen

I don't recall the exact details but creating PT boats from a TF usually require that the PT boats be created at a port OTHER than the one at which the TF was loaded. This is to simulate moving them from point A to point B. It MIGHT also be necessary to load the TF in a port of the nation of the PT boats. Not sure on this.

ORIGINAL: Don Bowen

The requirements are more stringent than I had thought.

The TF must have loaded at the National Home Base (for the TF) and must be unloading at any other ON MAP base.
Only ships with a cargo capacity greater than 999 are considered.
Only ships with 50 or more supply actually on board are considered.
Nationality of small craft is determined by National Home Base.

All this means that a US TF that loaded at San Francisco and that contains one or more ships with 1000 (or more) cargo capacity having at least 50 supply points currrently on board can "create" US PTs (or other small craft) at any base other than San Francisco.

Or, logically, the TF must have loaded at the main base in the US, be offloading somewhere else, have ships big enough to carry a PT and having enough supply points to represent a PT on board. And, of course, there must be US PTs in the queue. The nationality of the unload base is not important.

That's the way it is.

While I could contribute some to this....not sure I should. [:D]

But as more actual point, pools and supply. There has been quite a good advice in this thread.
