I appreciate the Rachmaninoff link. I also play classical playlists often during DW2 play. And I doubt many will turn their noses up to Hanz Zimmer- until they've had their fill!

Just recapping, from the OP, I'll highlight the Into The Breach soundtrack. There's quite a few other good ones there in that playlist, too, though I typically disfavor entire OSTs. Solar Fields linked from Buio is also great.

I listen to Spotify for the most part while playing DW2. I think epic music - like Two Steps from Hell - is mandatory listening when you're in a pitched total war. These playlists are a dime a dozen on Spotify and Youtube and are easily found, so I hardly think listing any of those will help.

The best playlist I've found, hands down. Currently 20 hours of appropriate space 4x music collected together from a practically anonymous user.

A solid playlist that has a more ... badass vibe than the above.

Endless classical music that works for more long sessions of strategy gaming.

This space-oriented collection is good for shuffle. It has more Halo than I like, but still is worthy of being a favorite playlist with its massive assortment.
