AI is Amazing? I have chess books with openings that go beyond 15 turns, so as long as you stick to those, there is really not much thought. One might even say that was cheating, running such a scripted AI
Except that instead of "killing chess" modern engines showed how abandoned opening lines were actually quite strong. No human had explored them with enough depth to realise this.
On a side note I had a friend who enjoyed playing g2-g4 against any Chess computer. They really never had an idea what he was up to.
He should try today against Stockfish or Leela.
