Grrrrr... flame rockets and Sturmtigers! Now that is really a nasty surprise for the MCs that took a hill in the north. In my turn, the killing continues, it's mostly an infantry fight so far.

I've killed one of my own MC squads :(

Why is it a mistake to buy panther G Uhs? If you want to start again it's fine, but I don't understand what you are talking about :o

The Panther G Uh can see through smoke, lots of people consider them unfair, lets continue.

OK, you also let me get that FO so I guess I owe you one ;) Just don't abuse them please... I already left a SU 122 in one's sights (sigh...) :(

The killing continues, the Russians advance through forests because the open ground is under observation from ATGs. It's funny how they fire at MCs and the MC stops to give the ATG a better shot

He also fired Nebelwerfers at me last turn! I think half of his arty is made up of rockets  And some of the rest is OB, like the 75 mm battery.

I'm beginning to see some of his bigger stuff out there... like Tigers, Panthers Uhu and Sturmtigers!!!

It appears the attack in the north has broken to his rear area  :D My MCs destroyed an ammo truck and a mortar and fired on several more medium mortars  A Panther Uhu behind a hill got bombed, hopefully he'll hang around for a little while ;)

In the south I can feel something brewing... He counter-attacked a bit last turn and I expect a much bigger show now. In the center there's open space and it's overwatched by multiple ATGs, Tigers and Sturmtigers

Oh, sorry JJ, I didn't know that... :o They just seemed like a good and cheap recon unit. Let's start again then, what do you say?

Well, as your infiltrators were no doubts able to see ;) , my MCs make up quite a small percentage of my total force, which is a balanced one.

The Northern attack proceeds well, still not much opposition in its way. The Panther Uhu got away but I still killed an 88 mm ATG.

In the South I stalled after a rocket barrage which made half my force in the woods retreat and rout this turn  :( I was planning to move on after an arty barrage but I have to wait now to rally my troops.

And I got a squad of SpecOps in the backfield that was peeking at my IS-2s

V2 has varied a few details in this game, but his main strategy has remained the same. He didn't attack in the beginning, like he said he would. He is patient - as always - until he feels he can start rolling over my positions.

Now mr. Viking I was wandering a bit through the woods with one of my infiltrators and ran into some AUX troops  Perhaps you could care to explain what were they doing there since this is just turn 8 and they've obviously been around for awhile?

I'm also beginning to see why people don't like the Panther Uhus and the truth is, you don't need more than one platoon of them. They have already claimed most, if not all, of your AFV kills as they are spread out nicely on the map and shoot at a big distance through multiple smoke hexes. Maybe I am just plain old stupid, but I can't figure out any way getting passed the one in the north that is just behind a thick smoke screen.

So, all in all, I'd say this game is not that much fun anymore, wouldn't you agree? I will even surrender since you seem to like winning so much. Thanks for all the lessons you've taght me so far, but this is one I think I will skip.

It was a AUX transport, kinda like you needing a FO, I have no AUX troops, or tanks, or arty, I figured out that I had nothing to move my 88s with so since you needed a FO I said noproblem and bought a couple of transports for my 88's after you ask to buy a little something.

I tried to tell you about the Panther G Uhs I can't do anything about OP Fire

You can have my passwaord and look for yourself if you wish:(

I didn't think the game was going well either.

I hope you don't believe I was trying to cheat you:confused:

The reason I didn't attack is because I was being swarmed under

The winning comment was a little low, I like to win yes. Do I like to lose ? No. I think that puts me in with most!

I reread your post, and I a little confused you where winning the game

And would have most likly won or at the least gotten a draw with you having more points:confused:

I'm sorry than 4 Prime Movers armed with pistols threw the balance of power so out of wack:rolleyes:

Sorry for the winning comment, I read it again and it does sound a bit awkward. I was just worried on the moment since you said nothing about you getting reinforcements early as well and I bumped into some. It made me wonder how many you actually got .

I mean, I did tell you about my FO and even asked if I could get it, you could at least have mentioned you were going to get some as well.

I didn't know it was only 4 vehicles, they don't upset the balance of power then. But the Uhus do :( They're awfully cheap for what they can do.

So I said let's end this game, if you care about winning it then I would surrender, my password was K63, and maybe start another one right and discuss a bit before of what is acceptable and what is frowned on.

I guess I care more about having fun than about winning :) But those Uhus are all but invincible and spoil all the fun
