Second that. These are a big help. Thanks. Still quite hard to make sense of those maps where everything is quite low (light colours) but there are lots of little bumps. But maybe it doesn't matter so much. This is a really big improvement.

Another mod for strictly low level maps could be considered. It is quite complicated to produce as there are 50 elevations.

Sounds great. 2 mods for maps of different levels, to allow more colours per level set. It would be easy enough to use, after all, with the JSGME system.

Fascinating, though way above my head, Jason. Looks pretty complicated to me. But the results are really great. It shows you're a pro - the games have the best maps for any hex type game, I think, real works of beauty (and clarity).

As magnificent as this mod is, it destroys the ambience of the blush, full, green and hellish jungle.

Is it in any way possible to have this mod coded into the game so one can toggle it on and off via a button?

You can use the mod enabler to turn it on and off.

It's not default, it's a mod.
