I had an issue today after reimaging my laptop and reinstalling CMO where it wouldn't start. Even after setting to admin. I reverified and it immediately started working. Not sure that means anything other than make sure you reverify before doing anything else.

Dimitris wrote: Sun Nov 12, 2023 7:59 am This is exceptionally difficult for us to troubleshoot, because we have not been able to reproduce it here at all.

Is anyone else experiencing the same error? If yes, do you have any additional insight?
I'm puzzled as well because this is the first update I had since CMANO that didn't allow me to launch the game at all.

Regarding if others had this, I had seen two other players in Discord that had a similar issue. And excluding this thread, I've seen another player report in the forum as well.

Attached are my logs. As you can see, I was able to use CMO yesterday fine. But when I shutdown my computer last night and boot it up again, CMO doesn't want to launch again. I do not know what's the exact fix is but just it works sometimes after restart, sometimes not so I just keep restarting which is quite annoying. At the moment it works.

I'll also try the 11a .exe linked to see if that help resolves my issue.

I have already tried that and also disabled other background applications as well. It still didn't let me launch CMO.

Also prior to the update, those applications mentioned (and anything else) has never conflicted with the game that prevented it from launching in the first place.

Thanks for the reports Rain08. First let's make sure that you run Command in Admin mode, the exception log indicates otherwise.
Let's make sure you have a good version of .NET runtime.
Install this one : https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/down ... work/net48 (This won't downgrade anything)

From the exception log this could be an array of causes, it fails at CLR level which is concerning. The more reports we get the faster we are going to nail it, so feel free to share any logs, information, and observations even if that doesn't sound relevant.

As Dimitris mentioned, a zipped installation folder (for example "Steam\steamapps\common\Command - Modern Operations" for Steam version) would help a lot.
Also prior to the update, those applications mentioned (and anything else) has never conflicted with the game that prevented it from launching in the first place.

Just to be sure I understand this clearly: The B1328.11 exe fails consistently on you, whereas the B1328.11a exe works correctly consistently?

I played with the EXE from the reddit-Link. When I pressed the Button Continue Campaign it crashed. Northern Inferno 1st scenario.

Hi Team, I made another thread with the same issue here "Game crash steam ver. 1328.11" on the 9th. So I have sent these files to Dimitris on the other post but just in case see them attched. With the screen shots and the Windows error files. I still have the issue the only thing not done was a clean install.

Thank you

I can confirm that build 1328.12 (and 1328.11a) is now making me launch CMO normally.

I'll try to investigate my issue further with 1328.11 if I have the time on the weekend.

It appears that I already have .NET 4.8 or later already installed on my computer. I also tried running the game as admin and it still would not let me launch.

As for a copy of my own installation, are there files/folders that I could exclude? Because my upload speed isn't great and it could take me more than a day.

I also found out that simply replacing the .exe (1328.11a) or putting the new update (1328.12) means that game would launch fine. No restarts or anything involved. Just a simple drag and drop.
