Germany (AI) - Summer 1940:
With the invasion of France finished in Spring 1940, Germany is starting an air campaign against England. But, the odds were very bad for the Germans since they are losing two fighters in the process. This is a huge blow to the Luftwaffe in France. The RAF has only two fighters damaged but they will come back soon.

Subs!!! After the fall of France, all of a sudden, the Atlantic is full of German subs. Two transport ships have been damaged already. Our supplies are in danger.

USSR (Me) - Summer 1940:
Now that we have reached a war readiness of 19, USSR has a factory production multiplier of 2. I am thus buying tanks and artillery to try to match the numbers already existing in the German army.

USSR (Me) - Summer 1940:
In Eastern Poland, I am realizing that my troops don't have any artillery unit. I don't know if this is working but to avoid Germany to get the Combined arms bonus during its first attack, I think this is better to bring one artillery unit there.

Meanwhile, my investment in spying is starting to pay with three interesting technology points captured.

The Japanese AI pilots are continuing their training on top of my rail network. I can't do much since my lonely fighter unit is protecting my factories. I am just repairing rails with the available supplies.

Western Allies (Me) - Summer 1940:
While the window of opportunity is still opened, I am reinforcing the supply level in Gibraltar. The UK army has been repositioned in Egypt facing the Italian army in Tobruk. Looks like German units are not yet there.

I may have the possibility to do something next turn.

Western Allies (Me) - Summer 1940:
In prevision of my attacks, Cairo is filled with supplies. I will try to push the Italian army as well as taking Syria to protect the oil fields. Cairo is quite empty with only two garrison units but the important thing is the tactical bomber unit just arrived from England.

My production is heavily focused on the battle of Atlantic. I am bringing more transport ships, more escorts and supplies.

Germany (AI) - Fall 1940:
Germany is invading Yugoslavia, upsetting both the USA and the USSR. The United States' war readiness is significantly increased from 12 to 21. On the other hand, Bulgaria, Rumania and Hungary now join the Axis side. Yugoslavia can't do much, only one German infantry army is damaged.

Japan (AI) - Fall 1940:
The Chinese fighter unit protecting my factory in Chungking has been destroyed. But thanks to his sacrifice, a Japanese bomber has been damaged and, more importantly, the factory was not damaged.

USSR (Me) - Fall 1940:
Looking at my production, I suddenly start to fear the German invasion. I have artillery units ready, tanks arrive Spring 1941. But I have no infantry army. I was hoping to get evasion level 5 for my Soviet infantry armies but I clearly won't be able to get it before the invasion.

Too bad but Stalin is saying that "quantity has a quality all its own".

I therefore stop all my production in the fall of 1940 to create 14 new infantry armies. They will be available in Winter 1941. This impacts my research of course but I don't think I have a choice. It will be necessary to replace the losses of the invasion.

By chance, my spies are still active.

My priority is to protect the few factories at my disposal. As such, I am producing two fighters units to replace my losses.

In Syria, the Axis uprising has been crushed by the British army but at the cost of a British militia for the Allies.

Western Allies (Me) - Fall 1940:
In Tobruk, thanks to the tactical bomber attacking from Cairo, the Allies has the combination necessary to activate the Combined arms bonus against the Italian army located there. And this is a blood bath for the Italians, they are losing all their units. Even their fighter unit is lost since they can't cross the Mediterranean without transport ships.

The lonely Italian garrison in Tripoli will be of no match next turn unless the Germans move.

With 7 garrison units, the Rumanian will surely help the Germans to concentrate their fighting units in the East by fighting partisans in Yugoslavia or elsewhere.

Germany (AI) - Winter 1941:
The German submarines continue their attacks but fortunately, they only damage the transport ships, without destroying them. Germany is building up in Rumania but will not help Italy in Tripoli.

I focus on production. 12 infantry armies, 1 artillery and 2 tank corps were produced. I don't know if these are really tank armies, the scale is what it is.
