This is totally separate from the game's settings, as it is a setting on your PC that you can change should you wish to, by going to Display Settings and adjusting it.

How does one update the game?
I am not seeing this in my library as recent updates available.

How did you buy your game, from Matrix, Steam or elsewhere?

Has anyone else noticed that since the new patch update, the demarcation lines for the Japanese zone of imperial control in the pacific and the German zone for not more than 18 units near Russian border no longer show up? Or is it just me? I’ve already tried toggling the setting/button many times.

In a recent game I thought the zone markers for 18 units near Warsaw were missing BUT they showed up when I got close to the limit (or perhaps over the limit). Not sure about the Pacific zone markers.

Make sure the Show/Hide Info button is on, this is the blue one on the right of all the buttons in the centre panel.

Actually I don't think that is the problem. We know about toggling the blue info button. What I think happens is that in 1941 the 'zone markers' are close to Warsaw and the warning is about having at least 4 units close to Warsaw. Fair enough. But players are worried about the 'more than 18 units near Warsaw' trigger and the zone markers for that are no longer showing. However they do show if you breach 18 (or maybe get close to 18). It is hard to be certain. Maybe something changed or maybe it was always like this. Definitely happening in my last 2 solo games. Or maybe it is triggered by a date or by USSR mobilisation? Anyway - it would be useful to always show the zone markers for the '18 units trigger' as that is key.

Yeah, it only shows once you go over the limit. I forgot about that. It was like that before. However the Japanese one was supposed to be always visible, just like the US ones. But at least in my previous game I couldn’t see it. And in a current game I am playing it hasn’t shown up yet either despite it already being mid 41

I do agree it would be nice if the Warsaw one always showed, and just changes color based on active or not. Just like the Manchurian zones

How do I update games that the installation didn't?

I have 6 updated campaigns, but also 6 that are in v. 1.18.

Do you have to change them manually, or is there some automagic way? Here's a list of them.

Naval War, 3 campaigns.
1941 Rostov.
1944 Triumph and Tragedy?

Come to think of it, the editor only finds the first six and one personal mod (name changes in Norden and a harbour in Gothenburg).

I'd be happy for some help.

These aren't official campaigns and haven't received any updates.

Unless you are asking how you can edit them? If so, they can be opened using the right hand of the two file open buttons in the Editor.

Oki, thanks for the info.

I tested import/export for the first time yesterday, and it seems to work ok.

But, so in theory I should be able to import stuff to the 39 campaign from those Naval Wars mods and get an updated version of them too?

It is a bit silly of me to bother I guess, since I am happy to play the standard campaigns. It should all be communistic, with just one version :)

Depending on what you want to introduce to the official campaigns, either the import feature or manually adjusting things will be the most appropriate.
