Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

And I believe as customer wanting better and better products its my duty to point possible mistakes out so they wont be (hopefully) made next time. :)
It's an honest mistake. Ian Trout was overseas while the controversy raged, and a definitive answer had to await his return.

It was one of those things that was meant to be corrected, but somehow never was. It will be fixed in the next patch.

For the curious, we calculate using only the intervening hexes, and then add +1 to help the AI stay out of trouble Though this is important mainly for short ranged units). By this formula, the 155 will turn out at 9 or 10.
