Just south of the Beltway near Alexandria, Virginia.

At least until I get back home to Texas.

Columbus is a great place to live.

Not if you are from Boston, although I'll admit I can think of a lot of worse places than Columbus.

Oh boy, looking for trouble aren't we? They do take Buckeye football serious in those parts.....

I know you are not from North Carolina, because that ain't a state that has spawned a competetive program for a National Title since....... I don't know when.....

At least people aren't calling Columbus a cow town now. Columbus is one of the top 20 cities in size in the country. There is alot of stuff here to do and yes we take our football seriously. So basically I spend my time on this board and the OSU boards.

You were obviously referring to football, as many of the NCAA Champs in basketball come from the Tarheel state. One of my best friends at work is from Columbus, and my sister lives there now too. So, yeah, I was just starting trouble. Way I figure it, not much else to do up there other than watch football [X(]

And as for football, my mom is from near Tallahassee, so I'm a Florida State fan. (Let the abuse begin...Wide right, Wide right, Wide left...)

Tobacco Road is tough for Basketball, but the reference you made was football.[:D]

That makes sense, as the ACC is Bobby Bowden's playground ( or has been anyway. Looks like the ACC went shopping for some competition for FSU in Miami and VT.....)

Although I'm a Carolina Panthers fan now, I grew up a Washington Redskins fan. One of the worst sports days of my life was when the spoiled brat who owns the 'Skins hired the SOB from Florida as head coach. Glad to see Mr. Gibbs back at the helm.

That would be something

Negative, just someone who has a low opinion of Spurrier going back to his days as a marginal NFL quarterback......

The man won a Heismann and thinks he is God's gift to football.

Or at least thought he did until he went to the big leauges and got "educated"......

Well, around these parts, we're quite happy he didn't fit into their system.

I'm from Minnesota originally (Skol Vikings!) but I'm trapped in law school outside of Philadelphia at the moment... Spent several years in DC as well.
