campaigns on the danube won't work

The ability to ALT-TAB is admittedly an extraneous feature, but I've almost always found it welcome with turn-based games, for the sake of reading the manual but more importantly to do some other tasks before continuing with the turn. I hope you consider working on it.

I tried the minimize to desktop (Windows logo key + d) and it seems to work. I can then maximize any program I want. Going back to Danube requires a bit of finagling, but at least I can multi-task.

The third install was to the default, c:/matrix games/campaigns..., and this worked. It seems that it does have to do with location of install.

You are right about this! I did the same default install when I was really desperate et ... voila![:)]
