What exactly is your bank holiday?
I have always wondered

Is it the same sort of bank holidays used during the Great Depression to stabilize the banks?
Or does it even have anything to do with banks?

God, I'm thinking of an answer and just can't do it...well maybe, we don't have a President or a Martin Luther King and also, what have we got to be thankfull for? Oh yes, Bank Holidays.
