Hi all,
ORIGINAL: Subchaser

One of Russian developers said that new improved AI will be the true pearl of this game, it should impress players more than PF outstanding graphics, now AI pilots can do far better in massive dogfights and AI flight leader really control combat situation (false retreat tactics, requests for reinforcements etc.), now there is no way you can kill more than 2 AI aces in one engagement, even if you’re hardcore Il2 veteran.

Another great news, VEF veterans are going to set up new PACWAR server for Pacific Fighters, anyone want to join AKAGI airgroup? [;)]

Where did you read that?

Some forum?

URL please!

I saw Yuri Antonov (AI developer 1C:Maddox games) quote on this subject, but I don’t remember where, it should be http://forum.sukhoi.ru or FPS chat (sorry both in Russian) I guess this subject will be discussed on UBI forums also

That would be my dream, to be able to actually tactiaclly fight all the battles.

Honestly Mantis I think that'd be everyone's dream. Or at least to have it as an option. I can remember contemplating something like that just before the migrane set in when I played Avalon Hill Games. Taking for example a marriage of Rise and Fall of the Third Reich for the strategic level and then going down to a HUGE Squad Leader battle (I had the entire game) for certain vital combats...

It worked in theory, but would have taken EONS to play. [8D][:)]
