All these off-topic side posts detract from my gloating over the damage I did to the IJN Haguro [:D]

Trucks.............gasoline...............oil............rations..........ammunition........did i say trucks............planes..........a good number of those ground attack aircraft the Russians used to great effect against the Germans. Oh by the way,did I say TRUCKS!!!!!!!

Frankly your contention that the Russians had already or could have beaten the Germans without the US becoming involved I find rather myopic.
If you take away all the equitment, transportation, munitions, rations and FUEL the US provided to the russians. How many mechanized divisions did the germans commit in the west and south?
How many Luftwaffe pilots were chewedup by US bombers and fighters? Aircraft and pilots they could well have used in the East?

Did the US win the war alone vs the germans...........no..........

Could the russians have gone it alone and achieved a major victory........I doubt it,it would of taken them far,far longer! But who can say, what happened, happened and anyone not being intellectually dishonest has to admit the Brits and company were pretty glad to see US!!!

As for WWI..........ahh my Brit and commonwealth friends the Russians collapsed and the French were just about finnished as well.Bah! Why bother...............

I think its funny that people outside of the US really have their history screwed up. Its a shame really. If we don't defeat these same type of people over here the revionist historians will screw us up as well.

I have to say one thing though. Roosevelt would've never let the Japanese have free reign of the pacific. If you really think about it the North Carolina class and the Essex class were in the war by the first of 1943. Now do you think we would've built those ships with an isolationist view? People outside of the US should just keep quiet about our polical dealings within our own country if they don't have a clue as to what they are talking about.

Oh come now...........everyone knows the "evil Americans" are only motivated by $$$$$!!! Why the US should of just sat out both World Wars and not aquired huge debts......errrrrm I mean profits, yes profits from those horrible conflicts! After all we contributed nothing to the outcome of those conflicts! Why if those "evil Americans" weren't involved neither World war would of happened! Right? A isn't that right?
And back on topic........that ship certainly looks as though it should be underwater!
