You have little idea how much greif you caused me with your report about the LST's in scenario 6 in the OOB thread, When i checked on your report i found 2 little typos... Those 2 little typos caused me to have to make over 4,000 individual corrections to the scenario data bases and a day and a half of my time. The only guy who got cursed at more than you that weekend was the guy who actually made the original typo.[;)]

Needless to say if you find anything else let us know about it we also want everything right at some point we want the time to play this game too.[:D]

Sucks that the typo (I've missed about a half dozen that we've seen...not too bad considering the size of the ship database) had to be a ship class that was mass produced!! Could not have been the Wasp or something...no.[:(] Unfortunate that this was not caught before it went into the darn scenarios.

Man, i don't know what's going on here these past few hours[X(]. When i bought Witp i had to create a new "forum" account due to my new e-mail address, different than when Korsun Pocket came out...no biggie. After the Witp DD i registered my game...okay...a new "account" , strange at first but again...no biggie. After i printed out my manual i printed all my pertinent information as a second cover sheet:Forum "username" and "password" AND Member "username" and "password" plus my game serial # from my original order confirmation[8D]. Needless to say i have been playing Witp for almost 12 hours with sound and no crashes(knocks wood). These guys, Erik, Marc, Mr. Frag etc...have been very helpful but they can't help us if we don't help ourselves[:D].

First Bought WITP and had to create a "new forum" account?

Theres the Forums and then theres the Members account, different things,
if lost password for forums can see the problem, if lost password to members account same, but if you still know the email address and the password for your members acct when you got Korsun Pocket you do realize you could have acessed that account putting in old email address and password and then accessed within that your Account info and changed
the email address to your new address and then registered WITP game into that old member account?

Forum account is for only Forums
Member Account is for your Account to register and list all Games you own... Different things.. not same thing.

Both you can edit the old email address if still have/had the old email address and P/W to access the accounts

And your point is?...[8|]...I think you misunderstood my post good man, when i asked "what's wrong with these forums" i was referring to the whining going on, the rest was merely stating the process i used to make it SO easy to keep my game updated and trouble free...on my end anyway[;)][:D].

I'm happy to pay $80 when you consider all the work Matrix did to give us Pacific War the Matrix project FOR FREE. The fact they actually WORK some issues and the fact you can't find strategic wargames worth a hoot anywhere else.

I'd probably just spend the $80 on my wife's 'honey do' list otherwise and who wants that?!
