As someone who works with/for Vets I've seen that one's political inclinations don't matter a damn when your in country. Remember that there are people back here who are supporting you. My best wishes for you and your buds. Come home safe

Stay safe and don't be a hero.

I am sure that WiTP will still effect your thinking while you are there ie...I wonder how many Oil points Bagdad is worth? Make sure you stay in level 9 forts!

Take Care 2ndACR, sorry to "hijack" your thread, but when people post moronic stuff that is out and out fabrications of the truth, something in me makes me respond.

As for Fox, I would bet the people bashing it dont even watch it. The NEWS portion is balanced, they neither support nor denounce either side when reporting news and have an approach of equality when it comes to reporting on diverse issues.

Now unlike the other Mainstream channels, they DO have right of center shows on Fox, what a concept, to actually air an opposing view to the liberal trash, lies and mistruths that are done on the other networks.
Favoritism is alive and well here.

I hate Rush too. Geddy Lee's voice is like fingernails on chalkboard. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Gordon Lightfoot is cool.

Well, Bosun has volunteered but it would be interesting to play from this point vs a few players to see the varying approaches. Dave and I were really pumping out the turns so I've got lots of free time right now too. The original was in slot 13, the only one I've got running waiting for the patch. I'm assuming Bosun will use 13. Make sure ya saveit under a different slot.

When Dave sends ya the save, it is Lemurs' 3.1. No need to get the mod. Dave will send password.

Sooo Freeboy,
We'll both be hunting the crafty canuk. Don't have time for an AAR, but it would be fun to post results occasionally. Especially the differences.

OK, so what advantages are obvious re this new scenario for the JAp player? do Sallys and ? get torps? other? let me know guys as I plan on hurting Ron before he gets tooo comfortable in those late 42 outfits...[:-]

I don't think OOB are changed in pre 1.3 games. So probably no torps for Sally[:(].
Thats why I'm waiting for the patch to take on my other venerable worthy PBEM foes.
The AAR sounds good. I can post occasionally as time permits.

Dave's been hurting me enough![:)] Biggest ship lost is Boise, but he used KB vs Manila rather than PH and gutted the US Asiatic sub force...not that the subs do squat with doctrine on anyway...had five attacks by end of March 42...one sinking. Jap CVL Hosho took five 500lb bombs from high altitude B17Ds (LOL) and CV Zuikaku took two Albacore delivered torps. Both are being repaired....no word of their demise anyway.

Japan controls Rangoon and Chandpur! All but isolated bases of PI is under Japanese canvas slippers, as is Borneo and Celebes. Java and Sumatra still Dutch. Solomons mainly Jap.
