There is also a thing for naval crew to do crossing the dateline as well as the equator I think.

There may have been in 1940, but when I was in the 'nav in the 80's, there wasn't.

Crossing the Line ceremonies occur on the equator. Then they become "shellbacks".
Don't think the screenshot is south far enough.
Watch out for Neptune

OK, did we ever solve the riddle of the missing " time" maybe the went into a time vortex created by aliens sampling dna
