I hate to tell you but even with the fix, if you send a carrier into close with out escort a PT boat will be able to torpedo it, as I understand it, the fix makes it so the escorts attack the PT boats.


Strawman. Please point out exactly where anywhere on the forum that anyone suggested an unescorted CV should be immune to PT boats?

The battle posted beginning this thread had the CVs hit quite heavily escorted by BBs, CAs, and DDs.

You know I had forgotten that character my late father-in-law had a cat named Fuji I asked him why that name he said it was from some show he used to watch [:)]

Man, how'd you manage to do that, my PI based PT Boat unit won't attack squat! My Dutch MTBs have only attacked one time, even though I'm constantly sending them into hexes which contain IJN targets!

Geez. Lucky this sort of thing will not be as likely in 1.3!

The effectiveness of PT's has always bugged me. Guess i'll see what they are like in 1.3
