I am not sure about the Warbird BoP, but the refit, the lower one, War Eagle BoP, is certainly finished...polywise.
I am having three exams next week (they finally came around the corner with the dates and times yesterday!) so I don't have the time to texture any of it right now.
Besides does anybody know which program would be good for texture drawing[&:]

any of the Paint programs can be used Eg

I hesitated to show this because it is one of my very first efforts. However, it shows the tall bridge and axially placed turrets to good effect. It is a dreadnaught I haven't finished yet. I added an Orion class carrier for size comparisons. And NO, it is not balanced with the game. One full broadside from the 18 main guns will pulverize most stations, let alone anything that moves. One neat trick I pulled off was that the turret directors actually work. They move and elevate with the guns. Looks pretty cool when they are tracking. Please ignore all the obvious modding gaffs.
For the history buffs out there, if it looks amazingly like WWII IJN BBs, well... guess where I got the inspiration for it.

I also love WW2 BBs [:D] so this kind of design is really pleasing to me!!![:'(][&o]
I'd love to have a copy of it for testing, even if it's not datted yet.
I really find it awesome and that pic will remain a desktop wallpaper for some time[&o]
BTW, Dragonlead has been writing a series of interesting tutorials on SSC regarding modding with Magic and this is quite interesting, as there are no tutorials supplied with that software, as of now. They are under the content section, under the Magic Tutorials topic. Enjoy!!![8D]

BTW nice ST ships D! As for the romulan DN, I'd opt for the first version, with the rounded shapes. I think it's more fitting, specially for the "old technology" era.

That's no Dreadnought, that's in the DIY review topic.
This is the Romulan Cruiser, War Bird for TOS (round engines) and it's TMP refit counterpart War Eagle.

just a little update. the ship unamed as of yet is still under work, ive redone the engine part for the 5th time this week. redone the front and made some changes to the guns, ive starte to also put some textures on this, wich i will give out at the end for anyone to use. Textures are a Similar Effect to the stock SS ones obviously not identical. [:)]
one small hickup i did notice however was that the turrets were not there so to speak you can shoot and fly thro them This is something to do with starshatter so ill have to frig them unless some one has a idea on how to fix the issue.

I do have such an idea:idea on how to fix the issue
You could build a cylinder, just smaller than the turret, onto the ship model so that the interior of the turret is almost completely filled by ship model. However, this does add a number of polys, you could try a cube too, it wouldn't add nearly so many polys.
If you're confused, I could whip up a drawing or something.

yeah thats the idea i had for frigin the turrets [:D] just wanted a more graceful way of doing it, problem with the turret design atm is that there a Stetched Square in overall shape, Mabey i should redign em oh well well see. could also make use of the transparent Flag on the Polly.

yes we all love turrets but makeing turrets compy to stock guns is a real pain [:D] so far ive had mega uber death rays on it and pea shooters.

not if you want to use a mag file anyway (all the other stuff AZ/EL etc can go in the ship def)
I suspose you could make a turret weapon with no grunt but a mag file
and a twinned stock weapon with the same posistion and AZ/EL setting [;)]
tricky with weapon selection in the cockpit tho

hehe, yeah i was gunna be realy anoyed with my self if i coulda just gone ok 2 grasers on this turret so back to the math of the laser.[:)]

ok here she is still under construction im afraid PD and Missles are missing, She was orignaly going to have a fighter bay hung underneath her but that came off very erly on there are 4 turrets on the ship the other 2 are sadly in shadow in this picture.
