I've got a seperate install for Andrew's map and the CHS.
Waiting for the "no line map" upgrade, but still been checking out the scenario.
I really like the squadron level org. Maybe now some of my pilots won't be disappearing when the unit gets fragmented.[:D]
Also been using your aviation art for awhile now. No problems. My only issue has been the scaling, and you've done a fine job on fixing some of the bigger offenders.[;)]

One question.
Panama, does it draw supplies and fuel from the East Coast?

Version 3 of my map already has a "no lines" map for the map without hexes. If you want a "no lines" version of the map with hexes, it will hopefully be available in a few days time.

The Cristobal base in Panama is provided with daily fuel and supply to simulate supplies shipped in from the US East coast.
Information about my WitP map, and CHS, can be found on my WitP website

This is fine for the first few months until the military shifted supply to the Pacific (specifically LA) due to high ship losses in the Caribbean.

I will be using it as soon as I set up a new copy of the game to put it in.

I think that the CHS is a great concept and I will be right behind it. I must confess I am firmly in the historical accuracy camp (remember those 'lively' discussions on this topic in the Steel Panthers forum....)

I must confess I was a little surprised about how may inaccuracies that seemed to be in the standard OOBs, particularly after all that effort that had gone into cleaning up the Uncommon Valor OOBs so any improvement is fine by me. The only danger I can see is that we can't have too many competing mods as this is not the sort of game that you can play every version and multiple versions will tend to fragment the community.

I must also agree with Zeta16 in that I would also like to see at least one mid/end war entry point (scenario) for variety.

Cheers,
Reg.

(One day I will learn to spell - or check before posting....)
Uh oh, Firefox has a spell checker!! What excuse can I use now!!!

I downloaded CHM alpha and did a dual install. So I have two versions of WITP on my PC now - regular one, and CHM alpha to get the feel for it.

I was, am, and will be highly suspicious and critical of CHM though, and as it stands I doubt I will ever be using it for "serious PBEMs", but wish you guys all the luck anyway, and will be watching your progress (lets call it "progress" for lack of better word for now [:D][:D][:D]).

Oleg

Oleg,
Everyone needs critical input, lest we sit on our laurels and say "good enough." If you find mistakes, post away. I may be out of line (If the CMS crew was a football team, I'd barely rate as a water boy) but from what I've seen everybody here is open to criticism.

I may have missed the readme on it but what are the goldish dashed lines like around Rangoon & Soerbaja represent? I'm using the special ver3 & didn't see it on the map legend nor the other blue lines though I've got most of that figured out.

I'll be switching to it and restarting PBEM as soon as 1.5 comes out.

I believe that means they are not in the Malaria Zone. It's all around them but not in the city.

That's correct - the blue lines are weather zone boundaries. The yellow lines are malaria zone boundaries.

The title of this thread is CHS Users. In other words who is using or planning to use it. Post map/art issues on the appropriate threads please. There are plenty of them out there.
