Don't British use "autumn" instead of "fall"? [:D]

What I learned in school was UK English. US English I learned from movies. [:D] I am pretty sure in most non-english speaking countries Brit English is thaught in schools, thus autumn, harbour etc. I knew what autumn is for years if not decades, when I first heard of "fall" it took me some time to connect the dots. [8|]
