Zoom ? what zoom ?

I've been playing with this, and it seems that 1450 is approximately the lowest zoom level that does not result in some funky draw artifacts on the right side of the screen (on my computer). At that zoom level, you can see almost all of eurasia. Kamchatka is a little off the map, but thats it. This is gonna make playing Japan and the WAllies so much easier/better. Plus the more stategic view is just plain cool (IMO). Reminds me of playing Axis and Allies as a kid.
