Drop by more often, a lot of folks don't understand the reality that there are 3000+ normal folks out there that also play the game that counter balance the extremists here. [;)]

Finally, we have information about WiTP sale [:D]

Many of you people need to get lives, seriously. And grow up, some of you are just acting like "dorks" (sucking up and/or overly trying to be cute or witty.)

Before anybody feels compelled to say something like "hey pal, who cares what you think, just leave", know that many people already have that were great contributors and their posts a pleasure to read. They've said nothing and just left.

It's a shame some of you are so obsessed with perfection or lack a social life in the "real world."

Maybe if there are NO MORE PATCHES people would stop being so obsessed with trying to change WitP to suit their gaming style, or their personal interpretation of history, and start to appreciate the game agian.

I DO understand the difference between people making constructive complaints (thank you, you've made the game better), but this is getting out of hand. I get the feeling some people are analizing every little tiny part of this game so as to have some kind of online forum recognition. PATHETIC.

and you think "Please, NO more patches!" will alleviate the situation? hey pal, who cares...oops [X(]

seriously, i agree that there is lots of whining on this forum. especially right after a patch is released. i think people are genuinely attempting to make constructive observations with regard to the effects of a patch, but they are going about it in a way that is less than constructive. in the navy, we called this "shooting from the hip"...stating a case that has not been well thought out, or doesn't have data to back it up and give it merit. usually the jackals from the wardroom would rush in for the kill at the smell of a statement bloody with lack of data (hmmm, gotta work on those mixed metaphors). the problem i have observed on this forum is that i rarely see anyone challenge such claims. one poster makes an oberservation and a half dozen more pile on with the same observation. does the volume of posts make the observation (or rather the conclusion from the observation) valid? of course not. but the posts are made, the theories are tossed about, different fanboys weigh in from their prospective sides, and i rarely see a concrete conclusion to the issue by the end of the thread.

perhaps this all stems from vague descriptions from the fix list of the patch.
1) Variable "X" has been tweaked slightly...
ok, but what does "slightly" mean? for example, subs will have little chance of NOT being detected if within "Y" range of an airbase with ASW/Nav Search missions assigned? was this intended? did the "tweak" work as planned? i don't know the answer...there is only one group that knows the answer...they haven't opined on the subject yet, to my knowledge. i'm guessing they are patiently observing, or busy with other stuff...or maybe both.

in the mean time, there will be wild and not so wild claims with little to back them up and the subsequent flurry of posts that lead to a dead end or no conclusion. there is some value to seeking perfection, but it's a long, hard road.

retreating back to basement...thankyou for any forum recongnition coming my way [;)]

Not so fast. Last time Mr. Frag threw out a number, which was similarly low, the Matrix folks dismissed it as being way off the mark on the low side. I have always heard of a target range of 5000 to 15000 and actual sales were referred to as safely within the range.

Please be aware that you win the grand prize if and only if said sentence makes any kind of sence whatsoever.

Thats terrible. You just disqualified at least half the ranters.

Having read a few posts on Matrix forums, I can say that Whining is what its all about: the search or plea for perfection. It will never come but it sure makes great reading. Whine On, you Whiners ( or Winers:))
