Has anyone played WW2 Campaign from beginning to end?

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

Any kind of time table for release?
After having played the long campaign for every major participant since SP was first released I'm looking for something new.
I have the MC but I prefer following my units through the entire war.

Thx.

No ideia yet, we are finishing the first part of the camping that covers from the begining of the german offensive till the typhoon operation (the battle for Moscow). I don't have the complete view of the campaing so it's better ask our coordinator, Mr A_B. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

I have played several campaigns start to finish. When your core units start becoming "supermen" just go to preferences and scale back the settings ie. inf. toughness, tank toughness, hitting.... This gives more balance with each succeding scenario in the campaign. If you do not do this then you will be unbeatable about half way through the campaign.

I've played the german campaign to late '43 and finished the Russian campaign. - playing with low points makes it possible.

most of the battles were just random generated exept for the battle of Stalingrad, where you (both as Germans and Russians) do battle in a fixed city terrain.
It was great moving al my tanks trough the streets while my infantery cleared the houses.

Altough I won the battle, the next battle was another Stalingrad battle on the same map. The mission objective was different though.

Another nice suprice to me, was that when playing Russians I had to do battle against the Rumanians and eventually Hungarians.

The AI made very stupid purchase decisions as Hungarians, but that's probarly due to rarity and the amount of points I gave the AI to spend (to make it even, considering my troops were mostely veterans).
