THE PATCH IS HERE!!

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

One hour past midnight. Just defeated a large Austrian army in Switzerland. Another battle is on it's way, but I used "save detailed battle" and am off. [:'(]

So far great. No crashes, no problems. Detailed combat a lot of fun. Going to take a while, however, to become good at the strategic game. Kudos to all on an excellent job.

Before the patch I had to wait for the entire movie to play before the game would load, now it stops the movie and loads the game. Was this a feature of the patch? If so, thanks. If not, don't fix it.[;)]

The same thing happens for me since the patch. None of the intro moves plays, it just goes straight to the 'Napoleon's Maxims of War' page and the green bar moves along the bottom of the screen. No Matrix screen, no twirling WCS logo, then loading a game stops the battle paintings montage immediately, whereas it would carry on before. But yes, keep it like this, please. [:)]

At least, I think that's what happens... I'll check when I get home... I could just be hallucinating due to lack of sleep...

What movie? What Montage? My game has only ever shown me the Matrix and WCS logos followed by the maxims loading screen.......

You might have to fix it alittle, just to let me see it once[;)]

Yea, I was kind of wondering that too

had the sort of slide show when the menus page opened up, but the patch took that out too, there was a movie ?

was it any good, just as long as it didn't have Brad Pitts in it

then again, if it did, I am glad I missed it

Well they are probably aiming for the yooff market, so probably a kickin gangsta sound with lots of semi naked sexy young things..... [X(][X(]so we are sure to be better off with out seeing it....mmmm.. maybe that is why I was asked my D.O.B when I purchased the game, to ensure I only downloaded the old codgers version[>:]

In the "yooff" version you describe, the painting of Napoleon has his hand in his pants, rather than his vest
