New Leader Generated

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

I hate to think how many hundreds of hours I may have played COG already (But I have had my moneys worth!!) and I have never seen a combat generated additional leader. I thought I had had a couple, but now realise through repeated play that they were scheduled to arrive part way through the scenario.

In the old version as Austria, I had new leaders appear, but I guess I couldn't tell if they were scripted to arrive or if they were a result of a battle? How do you tell, are created generals have generic names like created diplomats? If so, then no, I've not seen it either.

If they appear in the province the battle was just fought in, then they are "bonus", if in the capitol with no battle, then it is scheduled (I think!). I think the bonus leaders come with existing leader names and stats, not a generic name like commander / diplomat.

I started a standard campaign (1805) and new ones are
showing up there but not in my 1792 game.
