Erm, with all due and earned respect, Cobra, that's not an Fw-189. This is an Fw-189:

yep sure is and have already done one for this model but when searching for art (and this may be a what if curve ball) I found this one with title of FW189A1 it may have been on drawing boards and never built if so I throw it in the what if section for 1946
By the way no problems with jab in ribs for any thing not right

Looks like somebody made a model of a Vampire and painted it in German regalia. Why not just put in the good 'ol 262?

The Go229 is probably 'less what if' than the Vampire Look alike seeing it was actually under construction when the war in Europe ended

Yeah, and perhaps the Arado 234, to complete the jet triangle.

Have any of you guys considered doing the Tankerace route with this? He started a mod that has turned into an actual game of it's own.

If enough of you want to do the WITP Med game, I bet Matrix would help in the same way WPO is being done. (you guys do all the work, Matrix puts it together, and a Med game is released)

It's just a thought. If Tankerace can do it, you guys can too.

(I am talking about doing the actual Med theatre, not a "what if" german pacific scenario)

ps, cool art Cobra!

It's always a possibility. Just be aware that the workload will be absolutely humongous. I know Tanker's had to put a LOT of effort into it, and it never stops. Lots of stuff he thought he'd got right on the first try has had to be fixed after beta-testing.

1st painfull question
Which 2 carrier capable japanese aircraft could be removed to introduce 2 German carrier capable aircraft
2nd painfull question of all the other japanese aircraft which do I replace with German there
are only 4 vacant slots and I will need more than that (Japan will be able to use replacements(under license treaty))

Is there a Japanese Fan boy out there with OOB editor expience to help as Consultant via PM

One thing. If you're working from the premise that the Germans have influenced Japanese technology and design in a strong way you might be able to skip an entire generation of aircraft. Perhaps give the A6M3 the A6M5's characteristics - that opens one slot - and perhaps you could drop the Judy or something. Not sure.

I'd second that thought. YOu could get rid of a couple of the crappier Japanese transport planes and replace them with storks, or I think Donier and Henkel (however they are spelled) made some pretty big transport planes. The 'technology' inflence could be used to explain away some of those models. After all, in a regular game transports are usually not produced in huge numbers, so the inaccuracy caused by removing one or two is lessened.

To be stay more realistic, remove the L2D2 since it was simple a license built DC-3 anyways, replace it with a license built german transport craft.

so far progressing ok in Air and ships the only problem I have at moment and help on is needed..
for the german air I have created 4 new Engines
slot236 = DB 601A
slot247 = BMW 132T-2
slot248 = Jumbo 211J
slot249 = DB603E-1
When checking none of these are in engine DB to be built
is this a Slot problem and you cant put in new engines just replace, then what would be the
equivilant Japanes engines to use for the above.???

Also need conversion for tonage to capacity eg if a toe of a ship indicates it can carry 60tons what formula to use to convert to capacity ???
