2): Mono-Winged? - Yes
3): In use during WWII? - No
4): Jet? - No
5): In use militarily prior to WWII by any country in Europe or the Americas? - No
HINT: It's a postwar military aircraft, manufactured on the Western side of the Iron Curtain.
6): Western European side? - Yes
7): VTOL - No
8): Is it manufactured by a company noted for making automobiles? - No
9): If it's a SAAB, would it be the J-21? - No
10): made by Genaral Dynamics? - No (see the answer to #6)
HINT: This aircraft spent most of its time over water.
11): is it made by Dornier? - No
We are all dreams of the Giant Space Butterfly.
