Actually I saw this TF, but it was reported as only 2 CA's. I thought it was maybe a fast bombardment so I moved in to intercept. The crew of the PBY that reported it as only 2 CA's has been shot as traitors! Enjoy your victory...your running out of places to invade [:D] I am also kind of irritated I didn't launch a counter-strike. Should have gone down fighting! [:@][:@]

The only possibility is that your CV tried to launch a tiny raid (23 Dive bombers unescorted like your attack on Wake Island) and failed a morale check because I've roughly 2x more fighters to intercept the strike.

In fact I'm running of empty place to invade that's good for both of us. I prefered attacks on base that try to resist the Japanese[;)]

Note : USN naval power include Dutch and Australian unit

The SS have really suffered from the first month. Most of destruction is result of Manilla attack. Even with this heavy sub loss 6 japanese AP/AK have been lost in first month

A pack of CL and DD were lost in naval attacks.
Only 1 capital ship : CV Entreprise has been lost due to an allies attack on surface combat TF (in fact it was the KB !).

Here are now the monthly news from the front :

West Coast :
Nothing will happened until 1/1/1944 except perhaps raiding [;)]

North Pacific :
Quiet no sign of Japanese yet

Central Pacific :
The Gilbert Island have felt to the japanese but no other attack here

South Pacific :
The Japanese have taken Rabaul,Shortland and Lunga. Using SNLF I landed in many empty bases so just a few empty base are not japanese here.

USAFFE :
The south (Davao and so on...) is now japanese. The isolated troops on island will felt soon (probably next turn). All allies combat planes have left USAFFE now
For North Manilla, Clark Field and Bataan are the only not empty allies bases that resist to the Japanese

ABDA :
Tarakan felt to Japanese. Balikpapan is under attack only two little bases east to Balikpapan are still in allies power.
Japanese landing to Amboina is a failure due to British BB TF.

Southeast Asia :
In Malaya, all allies troops are now at Singapore except 2 indians brigades and 2 ISF bases that were destroyed at Georgetown
Rangoon is surrounded and 3 INF unit and 1 engineer unit is trapped at Taung Gyi.
Mandalay has not been attacked yet.

China :
In South China, Nanning has been saved from the chinese wrath and Changsha was taken mostly intact 6 chinese corps were defeated in the take over.
In North China, Yenen and Honan have been taken 4 corps were defeated there. 4 additional corps are trapped at Tatung. The bulk of the North Chinese army are surronded at Kaifeng.


Far east Command :
Nothing will happen here before 1/1/1944
