I believe that is better, but never played on AB map so i would prefer (and pfnognoff too) vanilla). the reason for that is i would probably made some mistake due unknown map.

When someone got promoted without demanding anything, that means that problems are arriving.... After all I am an Admiral so should be in command of a mere Gen and a Lt [:'(]

Gen, when you say "Roman", you mean Lt. Calley... well it's the first time I heard of a Dutch fanboy in WITP so we need him in our team, just to p..ss off other Allied teams.

Sending pm to Gen and Lt with my e-mail, so we can discuss the precise sharing of commands. Gen wants India+China, me the Soviet, Cailey the Dutch, that leaves Pacific, Australia, PI and maybe Malaya (don't know if Gen is including this in his command).

As for the map, I don't have AB map, and proved unable in the past to download it... (or maybe it was CHS) but I will follow the general advice. Someone spoke of Subchaser's map, but I think his correction of the official map had been corrected in one of the last patches.

My version of the game is v1.6something, will have to check.

GH: British+ Chinese
AL: USSR + North Pacific+ Central Pac+ West Coast
Roman: ABDA Command-PI+ South West + South Pac+ Oz

And for a Hajduk, I'm passive supporter of Dinamo Zagreb, and these two clubs love each other like Lazio and Roma[:D]. You should ask hawker about Hajduk, I believe that he could be Hajduk fan.

Yes, we won Davis cup this year, last few years Janica Kostelic dominated in WC skiing, our football national team was 3rd on the world (we also qualified for Germany!)... not a bad for a nation with barely more than 4 milion souls[;)]

we (Japs) are not discuss yet about PDU, but if we going to play with them we will certainly propose some rules....

As for first turn, i think that is a best first turn suprise for all Allied theatres except the China. We (read: I, the great Tojo[:D]) don't won't to give Allies free intel where we are going to strike first turn and IMHO, it will not affect Allies significantly - and we are going to strike only one major port (or none)...

Do you find that acceptable?

My personnal home rule would be to allow Chinese to move freely, and British some limited liberty (their Catalina were shadowing convoys for 2 days), like for example the possibility to move air units and change their orders, but not move ships and ground units.

As for PDU, the simplest home rule I know is the one forbiding the convert of medium bombers to heavy ones.

No, fortunately for him not( very few italian aviators survived the slaughter). My GF was a volunteer (sp?) officer ( he was a university teacher so was not sent to the front at the beginning). He served in Albania/Greece, then Libia, then managed to get back before the collapse, then was again volunteer in the "brigate nere" on the eastern border ( fighting the ita-yugo comunist partisans)...the pow camp.

Anyway, for PDU... my suggestion remains the same: Mediums upgrade strickly to mediums. Heavy to Heavy. So to say: Lilies do not become Sallies; Sonias/Anns/Marys remain DB; allied 2 Engines remain 2 engines.

Do we need something for the "overstacking"? Me, as allied...i don't really care...but the croatians probably, as playing on jap side, may want to say something about it.

Can't argue with that. Not that I take much notice, but I guess he does dress very well. Two months ago I was in a great restauraunt in northern Croatia. It's a bit exclusive, but not as much in prices as in its reclusiveness. It's actually fun because all the animals you get to eat walk around free. You should see a 100+ kg pig run next to you while you're eating. Fun! All I could see was two hams when it was running off. Anyway, what I wanted to say was that Boban was there with his wife and two kids and dog or dogs, whatever. I have a pic of little Boban with my niece playing
And yes, he was dressed very nicely. We, the locals, didn't pay much attention to him, nut you should have seen a group of Italians poiting to him and saying "Boban! Boban!" like he was part of the tour Funny
I know he is very popular in Italy, but there are some things that don't agree with me. But that doesn't matter, it's his life. He can live it any way he wants.
