after over 100 years of baseball and no HOF, would morris inspire me to build one. No. niether would ryne sandburg, or bruce sutter, or kirby puckett, or Mazzeroski, or Jesse Haines or dozens of others already in.

heres some criteria, would you like to see morris pitch in a corn field in iowa with other guys who've made a mark in this game? me, id like to see jack in one of those games.

"Field of Dreams" standards, eh? Sounds like a new discussion topic, doesn't it? "Who would be your starting nine in the Field of Dreams?" Only then will you realize how many HoF players deserved their spots, even with the most exacting standards applied. How could anyone pick ONE pitcher for this team?

Edward, being from detroit area i saw Morris pitch a few times in his career and it was always memorable, and after arguing his right to the HOF, i will now say my most memoral Morris game witnessed was his first time back to Tiger stadium after he signed with the Twins. He got bombed giving up a grand slam i believe to that power house Barbero Garbey.

i do so miss Tiger Stadium although Comerica is nice, its just not the same.

KG, for me it would be impossible to pick only 9 guys for my feild of dreams. Id have to pick say maybe a 8 team league with 5-6 pitchers per team. hmmm, someone should make a video game that lets you do that....maybe it would sell......hmmm
