Buttoned and Optics effect?

A brand new campaign-based 3D tactical engine covering combat in World War II, from the developers at Koios Works. The first operation covered is the famous "Wintergewitter" or Winter Storm, a desperate attempt by Hoth's 57th Panzer Korps to break through to the encircled 6th Armee at Stalingrad and the Soviet counter-attack by 2nd Guards Army that drove them back.

I see a lot of references to Otto Carius' book "Tigers in the Mud". You should check out "Panzer Aces" and "Panzer Aces II" by a guy named Kurowski (or something like that). I read the first one several years ago and it was so good it got me re-invigorated to play more wargames. Especially the European land battles of WWII - eastern front is my favorite right now.

THese books are great. The first one touches on most of the Tiger aces you've heard of like Wittmann and Bakke. The second has a few I never heard of, some of which got little recongnition, but were considered by commrades as the best. One in particular: Kurt Knispel (excuse my spelling). Look him up when you get a chance.

There's just as much if not more personal accounts on fighting from a German armored vehicle like a Tiger than most resources. Including some accounts of Jagdepanthers, armored cars, and Panthers.

enjoy
