When I get really bored or stressed out, I like to take a piece of paper and start charting the statistics of various imaginary pro athletes. It's like a little numerical universe over which I have complete control. I've been doing this since I was around 10 years old. In the beginning, all of the players were superstars... As I grew up, I started dreaming up mediocre players who had the occasional brush with greatness. I'm a little strange.

So yeah, what I'm trying to say is that Pure Sim is the perfect game for me. I can't even begin to imagine how many pieces of loose leaf notebook paper I've filled up with stats and then torn up, only to begin another player minutes later.

I played Stratomatic for a while, too...
