Thanks Hank. I guess it's back to the drawing board, on this issue...[:(]

I tried the patch and it did make a difference. The screen on my laptop is now totalled filled by the game ( a good thing ), however, there is still a back empty space that should be completely filled by the map and GUI. Does this make sense?

Thanks again for your quick replies and effort to correct the bugs/problems!

I'll try, however, my laptop is at work right now. I'll get it to you next week if at all possible.

Thanks,
Mark

I have the same problem Torque was. I was running it on a Toshiba Satellite laptop. My screen looks just like his.

I've downloaded the .17 patch and I'll let you know how it looks.
Instead of maximizing it, can you drag the edges so that it fills the entier screen?

I have the same problem playing on a Dell 710M which has a Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME on board graphics card.  PLaying at 1280 x 800 leaves the black stripe up the right hand side, which can not be changed by dragging the window or maximizing.

Thanks guys. We'll have Ralph dig into this a bit more, when he gets back from vacation.
