Today is a big day for the allied antisubmarine campaign. Three japanese submarines have been hit by aerial bombs from ASW air assets:
I-72 hit by B25C, RO-33 hit by B-26B and I-25 hit by british Albacore (the last sank by USNavy escorts from a SAG).
In the Picture HMAS Australia ate a torpedo launched by I-25 before she hunter by FAA Albacore - USN Destroyers. HMAS Australia reporting damage: 28/16/26.
