Campaign for South Vietnam Turn 11 as of 11MAY2008

The 2nd of the K48 VC Bn with support from a rocket unit is going to attack an Allied arty unit:

The Doan 10 VC unit is going to split into three units and try to blow some bridges and
convert some hexes and then disband. Sorry I started the movie one frame to "late" and I noticed
that there was no interdiction and I got to blow a bunch of bridges in this one mission:

The Phu Bon 1st VC Bn is going to split into three units and try to cut the road in several
places by converting hexes and then disband:

The Phuoc Long VC Bn is going to split into three units and convert hexes and then disband:

The 275 VC Reg is going to split into three units and try to cut the road south of An Loc
by converting hexes and then disband:

There is a 1st Cav recon unit that somehow slipped itself between two VC units and so they
decided to return the favor by attacking at ignore losses setting:

The NVA 21st Div elements can't disband so they thought they would all just take as much
US equipment with them as they could by attacking at ignore losses:

And those attacks took 40% of the turn. The rocket unit disbands and everybody in the NVA
21st Div digs in. The turn ends here.

So um.......I have put together an intelligence estimate for the positions of the Allied stuff as well as the VC and NVA stuff.  This link below is CLASSIFIED since it contains the positions of every NLF unit as of the end of the NVA turn 11.

Allied Turn 11:

The invaders in the tri-border region have been identified as the 21st NVA Regt.  The monsoon ended and coordinated attacks begun.  They went down rather easily.

Elements of the 5th Mechanized and 11th Armored Cav are arriving which will provide some much needed muscle up in I Corps.

Otherwise a quiet turn.  Most of my activity was spent on road security.  I want to keep the border hexes under Allied control to make it easier to detect incursions off the HCM trail.
