I'm away Friday until Monday. If I get the file Friday morning early, ~ 7 am EDT, I can do my turn. Monday night will be the earliest I can do a turn after that.

Oh dear! This is embarrasing. Enjoy it now, 'cos I will soon I'll be infallible.

Yes, I've forgotten our password. Which gives us 2 options, I think.

1. start again
2. start from Russia's first move and try to replicate last moves.

I guess it's the Axis choice.

Sorry guys.

Can't JW just open up the turn he sent you and change your password... oh wait.... or maybe some third party could open our last turn and set your new password....

Maybe Vic can help us out[&o]

Back off holiday. Will be able to open all files tomorrow though. Hope that is still ok? Read that the game has started, willing to wait till I am needed.

Hi Mehring,

things like that happen. Just know the situation. [;)]

Lucky all those who have not yet made the experiance too often of forgetting any PW or code. But sooner or later it will happen to them too. They get older too [:'(]

In case we have to start again I thing you should continue with turn 1 you got from Jay Doubleyou. If we do our first turn again it will cause an unnecessary delay.

And we did just such a great work that we can do nothing else than make it just like this again.

Any third party that knows how to set a password is welcome to do so. Otherwise, I'm for restarting from our first turn, which minimises repetition, but I as it's my mistake it's Germany's call. The whole of Russia must pay for STAVKA's errors!

I'm fairly sure that JW can just open the turn that Rufus sent to him after his moves were done. It means that JW will have to redo the final staged of the turn but then he can go into the Settings screen and change your password.

Or maybe Vic can look at teh file you have and tell you the password.

Barthhearts suggestion doesnt work :(

So I prefer Vic has a look in the file.
If that really aint possible, then the Russians can re open turn 1 and send it to me.

I am away on business course from tomorrow till friday. I will see what you have worked out when I get back....

Well.... looks like we're pouched![8|]

Might as well start the Russians from turn 1 again.

Maybe write the password down or send it to your team members....[:-][8D]

Ok, to spare my officers, I'm replicating the first turn's moves.

...in the course of which, I'm confronted by something I noticed before but which is problematic here. Anyone else seen this or know a cure?

I'm trying to replicate West Front moves now, and I find this front has a few subordinate HQs which should function as wheeled, but which in fact function as foot. They have 20 staff and 1 truck. I've even just tried transfering them into a new shell to make up the ground, but they re-emerge as a foot HQ.

Clearly they didn't open as foot units on TheArchduke's game installation as he moved them the extra distance and they show as trucks on my installation after his move.

Bottom line, I can pass him the file to finish moving those HQs but I would like to know what's going on. Anyone?

Usually that's caused by lots of supplies being in the HQ. That's my only idea.... is it actually moving like foot or just showing a foot symbol in the details?

Sometimes units with tanks and horses will show tracked symbol in details but move at horse rate. Units always move at slowest rate no matter what the symbol shows.

HQs overloaded with supplies. They showed foot icon. Looks like a single truck HQ can carry its 20 staff plus up to 50 SP at truck rate. Any more and it goes on foot.
