SOPAC : VICTORY

Post by gladiatt »

SOPAC

Not a lot of things to tell.
No more jap raid on Luganville (i bet 50 Warhawk on CAP is a little bitter for the jap).
No more raid from myself on Efate: my bombers groups are recovering morale slowly, and are repairing (or completing the losses).
A dutch reccon squadron had been upgraded on F-5A, and fly reccon mission on Efate from 20th august. The base is seen entirely repair ([:(] ). So the building of this base by the japanese engineers can go toward airfield 4....
There are 45 zeros, 11 Tony and 8 Tojo at the base, and probably 85 auxiliaries. Hmmmm, too much for patrol planes, some of these "auxiliaries" must be bombers....

Koumac
On 20th august, end of the jap resistance at Koumac;
from the screenshot, you can see this is a fragment (a big one, because there was 9000 japs casualties), so the unit is ready for rebuiding elsewhere.
But nethertheless, this is sweet for my taste.

22th - 25th august

DEI
Not a lot to tell. Uusal daily milk-run against dutch troops.
Koepang hammered ; but the AA units manage to shot down 1 kate and 1 sally in these 4 days, damaging maybe 10 planes. That's already something.
On 25th august, BB Ise and Yamato are once again on shore bombardement mission during the night, and far away at dawn. I've got a sub on duty at Koepang....i should maybe shaken a bit the captain, because since 3 months he never catch anything....

On 22th august, Pomala (Sulawesi) is captured.

BURMA
Andaman keep being harassed by the japs bombers. Helens and Sallys don't manage to score great results on the base, and loose a few planes to my Flak ( 5 bombers downed in these 4 days).

Rangoon is raided by my 4E on 22th august: 93 us bombers destroy 4 japs bombers on ground, scoring 9 airbase hits and 87 on runway. No air opposition. Weather prevent me to make another run on 23th august, except for a lone B-17 squadron adding a few more damages.

Mandalay
Since the town was cleared of japs, supply is flowing to the chinese units keeping the road to Lashio [8|][:D].
And on 23 th august, 200th chinese Div, another chinese div that i forgot to take identification ( [:o] ) and 3rd Carabinier Regiment, with the help of a few air support (7 sb2c and 4 wellington), manage to repulse the 1st and 8th jap Tk Reg.
West of Mandalay, things are a bit more difficult: the japs have 2 Brigades (23th and 56th) and bring Arty. On 25th august, the crossing of Irrawady by one of these arty unit trigger a jap shock attack that fail at 0/1 , 220 jap casualties for 130 allies.
And there is always the 3 big japs units that i repulsed from Mandalay that are waiting to come again in fight....

22th - 25th august.

SOPAC

Efate seems to host now roughly 80 japs fighter .
On 22th august, 43rd BG send 26 B-17 at max ceiling. The zeros can't catch them, but the Tojo climb high . One Flying Fortress is downed, but also one Tojo was catch in cross fire from 50cal and is destroyed A2A. No results on base....

I have some subs scattered around Efate, but it seem they are on hollidays or something like that, no one ever catch anything....grrr.

23th, another raid by B-17 at max ceiling. This time, Tony come witht Tojo. (the total CAP is 23 zeros, 14 Tojos and 18 Tonys).
1 Tojo and 1 Tony are destroyed by my 50cal gunners. 8 boeing are damaged (2 crash on landing). 2 hits on runway won't be enough to slow down the rising of the airfield....

24th and 25th see no US aid on Efate: weather, always weather [8|].

Luganville
The japs are back.....
"Tally Ho" !! "2 zeros on your tail....break port.....gotcha.....beware.....You silly....all 49th group to climb".
Haem. Others do this kind of AAR way better than me...
So. 69 zeros and 28 Bettys. Facing 38 P-40E of 49th FG covering a supply TF of 4 AK which slipped in Luganville under cover of bad weather (at last i found something useful in bad weather [:D] ).
11 P-40 downed for 21 zeros and 3 bettys. 1stLT Evans and FO Anderson reaching 6th kill, 1st LT Simo reaching 5th but after downing 3 in this single fight. 2 AK hit by torpedoes, one expected to sink in a few hours. Already 1600 supplies unloaded in the base.

WUCHOW about to fall ??

Post by gladiatt »

22 th august - 25th august

CHINA is the focus now of many people: Jan, me, a good bunch of readers, staffs of general, miss Gladiatt ( wich have to hear my strategic thinking for hours [;)] ), and so on....

Nanning
21st jap Div is trapped north of this town.
a datai of Kate is making bombing run from Haiphong on the chinese corps closing the railroad from Indochina.
On 23th august, they change target, aiming to the chinese corps bombarding 21st jap div....and get caught by 12 P-39 of 6th FS; (sorry, paint at random didn't catch the screenshot, and i am too lazy to run once more the combat replay to have a chance to take it another time).
5 kates are destroyed.
The japs react pretty fast. On 24th august, a sweep of 27 zeros from Haiphong try to catch my Airacobra...but aiming the border of Indochina. On 25th august, the zeros are on my P-39. But the fight didn't get awful for me (as i expected). 2 zeros and 2 Airacobra are downed.

On ground, the jas don't fire (lack of supply is suppose ? ). My chinese corps fire some bombardement, but suffering casualties for nearly no japs. Anyway, i keep going because i don't want this japs unit to move.
Brits bombers are supposed to fly against this trapped unit, but that's 5 days in a row that i wait ti see them acting !

HOMAN
After my fail attack of 21th august, i decided to get back to the city.
The jap have fun bombarding my troops from air or land...The japs even call a Div in renforcement. Thus there is now 35th, 29th and 58th div, and one brigade on this front. On 24th august, the jap launch an attack on the slowest corps (must think to get rid of the chinese general) retreating; odd 83/1, 140 japs casualties for 800 chinese.
On 25th august, a mistake of me had good result: 605th squadron (Spit Vb) was transfered to Homan rather than Sian, and so was there to make an unwanted ambush.
No allied losses, 3 oscar, 4 sonia and 1 ida downed; SLDR Edge score 3 kills, reaching 15. Not bad, hé ?

RE: WUCHOW about to fall ??

Post by gladiatt »

OK, i know you guys are not wanting to read about small ambush at Homan, or bombing runs on Andaman, or my pesky silly stupid subs that never catch a target.
Hey, there is a real war in South China, you know, one that involve hundreds-thousand soldiers !

ok, so here it goes.

SOUTH CHINA AND WUCHOW

Railroad on hexe 43;40 is hammered by air. 155th squadron (Hurricane II) has leave, being unable to refit at Wuchow (not enough supply). So the air is free for the japs.
The jap AV is 7000 on 22th august, reach 7400 on 23th and 7900 on 24th august !!! 39 units are focusing on this railroad to relieve the 44 in Wuchow. My AV are 2360 [8|][:(]
After 3 days of land bombardement (and air of course) , the jap launch an attack on 25th august. 350.000 japanese soldiers, with 3600 guns and 700 vehicules ! They disrupt the lines of 83000 chinese soldiers (380 guns, 100 vehicules).
The odds are ....they are ....they are forgotten by stupid gladiatt wich failed to take note of this [:o].
7300 japs casualties, 227guns and 12 vehic, for 3700 allies casualties, 50 guns and 3 vehic.
Anyway, at first i am scared because there are retreating units. One HQ and 2 corps.
And then....well, that is all ! my others units, despite the fact my AV is now very weak, are still on the road. 754th US tk Bn is really shaken, but others corps are not in bad shape [&:] (some are roughly at 10 disruption).
I hope this could hold a bit more, because i try to send 2 more corps there, i need 4 or 5 days....

If this part break up, just imagine ! 80 japs units there, 20 more at Changsa, 4 near Homan, 4 near Sian.... well, it's all the japanese Army, no ???. China will then be peace of cake for these strong units.

Almost forget (probably because disapointing and ashame)
at Changsa , AVG/A did not work for it's legend. On 22th and 23th august, this top squadron (exp is around 75) trying to cover Changsa lost 3 P-40B for no losses on the Oscar and Sallys raiding the city [:o]

edit: hi Josh, gotcha [;)]

JAP SHATTER THE CHINESE FRONT

Post by gladiatt »

26th - 27th august

SOUTH CHINA

North of Nanning
The japs sent sweep of zeros and they tangle with 6th FS (P-39). In two day, the losses are 2 zeros and 2 P-39

Wuchow
The front is target of the japs bombers, but AVG is aware ...
The jap airforce sent a raid on 26th, 30 Oscar and 7 Sally. AVG/A and 25th CFS try to stop them. The 17 I-153 loose 3 planes while shooting 2 oscar. Then AVG come to the fight, and down 10 Oscar and 1 sally.
On 27th, the jap sent a sweep of 27 zeros to clean the sky. This time the chinese loose 9 I-153, but AVG/A still don't loose any plane, and shoot 7 zeros.

On ground. A jap delib attack on 26th august reach odd 2/1. 5000 japs casualties for 2000 chinese. A part of the chinese army is retreating, but not the whole [X(]; but my reinforcing chinese corps are still too far away.
On 27th, the japs launch a SHOCK attack. 2/1 odd, 11700 japs casualties,241guns,48vehic for 2160 chinese casualties,18guns.
Once more, some chinese units retreat, not the whole stack; so for the moment i keep the road closed, but these ram shock will break the front in a few hours now.

edit. I did receive the turn for 28th august. The jap had breach the front line. The road is open. Stay tuned for details and update.

SOPAC
North of New Zealand, a pesky jap sub is spotted and attacked by a MSW TF , and MSW Outarde manage to hit I-5 by a direct hit with a depth charge. Hope it will sink.

Luganville
26th august, a raid come with 73 zeros and 9 bettys, fighting with 29 P-40 of 49th FG; although i loose 15 fighters, and 2 AK are hit by the bettys, the jap loose 19 zeros and 1 betty.
Then come a sweep of Tojo from Efate. 17 Tojo manage to shoot down 5 P-40 for 1 Tojo.
These loss are high, but the jap suffer too.

SOPAC SEE HEAVY AIR LOSSES

Post by gladiatt »

27th August - SOPAC

On 27th august, trying to close (as usual) the airfield at Efate, i launch a raid on the jap base.
19 zeros and 31 Tonys are warding the place against my 39 2E bombers and 130 4E bombers. The Tony seem to be a killer, downing the greatest part of my 23 losses (14 Liberators and 9 Mitchell and Marauders); but the allied gunners are not ankward, and down 20 japs fighters (14 being Tonys). The airbase suffer 10 hits, runway 38 hits.
There are also japs AK in the harbour. 13 Marauder launch a raid, but the jap CAP down 3 of them for no hits on these ships.

At Luganville, the japs keep trying to harass my forces.
19 Tojo sweep the place, loosing 6 planes for 5 of my planes (of all kind: i sent reinforcement to try to complete my airforce).
Another raid come from Guadalcanal, 59 zeros and 27 bettys against my 29 fighters. Allied losses are 10 planes , 1 AK sunk , another hit by torpedos and going to sink (but don't care, supply had been unloaded in the base, to an amount of 7000 ). The japs losses are 15 zeros and 2 bettys.

We are reaching heights in airlosses: 27th august, 78 japs for 65 allied....
I hope in the long run this will bleed the japs, because for me this is far from an easy situation.

RE: SOPAC SEE HEAVY AIR LOSSES

Post by gladiatt »

28th august- 31 August 1942

DEI
usual milk-run in Sumatra and on Koepang.
Maumere airfield (jap side) reach level 4 on 29th august.
Sabang (north of Sumatra) captured 29th august. 400 mens of the 224 Group RAF surrenders.
30th, Sansapor (New Guinea) captured.

BURMA
Andaman raided 2 days on the 4; slight damages to airfield, a few casualties on ground troops.
Moulmein host a few planes. A first raid by 12 Beaufighter VIF of 27th squadron destroy one betty on the tarmac.
The following day, 30th august, 45 allied bombers raid the place and destroy 8 bettys on ground.

West of Mandalay, artillery duel goes on between the brits and the japs. No one seem able to take the upper hand.

SOPAC
On 28th august, a raid of 180 allied bombers on Efate must face a CAP of 32 japs fighters. 8 allied planes are downed, 4 japs planes (and 5 destroyed on ground). The base suffer 3 hits on airbase and 26 hits on runway.
The same day, 19 Marauder launch an attack on the AK convoy at this same base, but the japs fighters down 9 of them. Still, the 10 bombers that get through put 2 bombs on an AK; this raid allow another one to get through the CAP without harm: 7 Mitchell and 12 Marauder hits 4 AK with 7 bombs, all the ships are in flames.

On 29th august, SURPRISE (well, for me!) No japs fighters cover Efate !
My bombers trash 48 japs fighters on the ground and hit the runway with 100 hits.
Flying from Luganville, 14 SBD attack the japs AK, followed by 35 2E from Noumea. 2 AK and 2 MSW sink, another one sink 2 days latter.

30th august, 8 others japs fighters are destroyed on the ground at Efate, and 4 more on 31th august.

28th - 31th August

CHINA

Wuchow area

As soon as 28th august, on the railroad between Canton and Wuchow, the jap Shock attack my troops.
The odd reach 8/1. the losses are 9400 japs and 900 chinese.
On the following day (29th august), the japs resume bombardement at Wuchow.
A last attempt to slow down the japanese lead a chinese corps to cross the path of the japs on the railroad. But it is hammered by a shock attack wich reach odd 9655/1 !!!!! [X(] . 1700 chinese casualties, my corps retreat.
Now, nothing can stop the japs...

In the air, the japs harass and hammer the troops on the railroad during these 4 days. The AVG/A is making once more at the top.
AVG claims 41 kills for 6 losses ! FO Reed score 7 and reach 33 Kills, 2lt Landry reach 22, FO Koonce (11kills) is KIA.
The 605th RAF squadron (Spit Vb) also try to intercept the japs near Changsa; it down 2 oscar and 2 sonia for no losses.

Image

Nanning
Japs 19th Bde as came out of Pakhoi, attacking at Nanning, probably to help the 21st Div north of Nanning. There are now ZOC intricate around the town. A chinese corps that was on ward duty south-east of Nanning join the battle on 29th august.
And there are 4 more japs units coming from Indochina.

Changsa
is now besieged by 23 japs units, and more are coming....

TARGET CHINA

Post by gladiatt »

It could well be possible that the main goal and target now for Jan is CHINA !
Look at this map.
Advantage for him: close from Home Island, many base.
Few (too few) allied air can oppose him (due to lack of supply AND lack of AV support).
The chinese units, even if numerous and well trained, can't stand the jap steam-roller. They need supplies to recover from battle, like every other troops, but there is too few in China.
Once the south base will be overunned, the japs can walk to Chunking. Even with respawn of chinese troops (at 1/3 of strengh) this will not stop him, and will give him many VP of killing troops. (and even owing points each time some chinese respawn in Chungking to meet their doom).
He could then conquer all china, stopping in Yunan.
The troops send here don't have to worry about being sink in an AK, bombed by Mitchells or Liberators or plastered by 155mm guns from USMC. So ?
Time will tell.............

SOPAC

Post by gladiatt »

1st - 5th September 1942

SOPAC

Between 1st and 2nd september, bad weather prevented me to launch raid on Efate to be sure to be kept close.
On 3rd and 5th september, 2 raids gather 120 sorties of 2E and 180 of 4E, destroy 4 planes on ground, score 7 airbase and 220 runway hits.

At Gili Gili, thinking i could add attrition to the japs air losses, i launch a sweep on 3rd september. 75th, 76th and 77th RAAF
squadron gathered 43 Kittyhawk I, and encounter 3 zeros; the result give nothing, a Kittyhawk is damaged. Immediately, airbalance over Gili Gili shift from 300 for the japs to 600 for the japs. Ok, all the better, i will have something to eat/hit. 24th FG is schedulded to come along the Australians squadrons.
On 4th september, 24th FG get lost in the clouds, and the australians fight "alone" the 39 zeros on CAP. Result are far from perfect: i loose 9 planes for 4 zeros . But i thought that with 24th FG (experience 65, P-40E), it could be better...
I was wrong :

1st - 5th september

BURMA

On this front, as on every other front, the weather seems to be on jap side (maybe Jan is thinking that weather is always on my side ??? [&:] ).
Hence, there are too few raids from India on the japanese troops just West of Mandalay.
The japs use bombardement attacks, but i launch 2 attacks with 7th armored Brigade of General Anstice; they both fail at odd 0/1, but cause 800 japs casualties for 300 allied. Supply is becoming scarce, i think i will have to slow down my pace of operations here.

In the air....i am making more and more mistake, getting too much incautious.
That was a good time since jap planes were present in Burma (except for 9 recon Dinah II based in Pagan and that i can not manage to destroy by raids on this airfield; the fact that Pagan is heavily defended by AA make me hesitate to launch a big raid);
so i get use to no opposition.....should have take care.
On 5th september, a squadron of LB-30 attacked Moulmein (well, 10 Liberators never found the target in the clouds, and so get safe to base). And 6 bombers get ambushed by Tojo (100% losses for me). Another raid of 12 B-17 over Rangoon get better: 2 of the 18 Tojo on CAP are downed for 2 of my bombers.
In the afternoon, 23thFG (P-40B) sweeped Moulmein, too late to save the bombers, but enough for a retaliator strike: 7 Tojo are downed for no losses.

ANDAMAN

Post by gladiatt »

BURMA 5th Sept

On 4th september, a supply TF slipped in Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal, heading for Andaman island (still needing supplies). It seemed unspotted.
On 5th september, it reach the port in the night, but get spotted at dawn. 11 Nell took off from Victoria Point, scoring 6 torpedoes hits on 2 AK; then 6 bettys from Moulmein came in a second wave but didn't score any hits.
Now, all i can do is waiting for a second blow on following day, hoping that some supply will be unloaded in the base.

NIGHTMARE CHINA

Post by gladiatt »

1st - 5th september

CHINA

oh no- oh no- oh no- oh no

Wuchow Area
Between 1st and 3rd september, the japs bombard Wuchow, now that they have supply. Their AV rise to 8400.
On 4th, a deliberate attack reach odds 0/1 but reduce forts to level 7; losses 4500 japs for 1500 chinese; bombardement resume on 5th september.
In the same time, the japs come close to Kweilin (AV 4500 on 3rd september), the chinese troops being hammered by air despite the RAF efforts (see below). On 4th september, a shock attack reach odd 14/1, repulsing my troops, and 5 tank regiment, pursuing, end in the same retreat hex than my forces. This attack costed 1850 japs casualties, 90 guns and 8 vehic, for 2000 chinese and 26 guns.
On 5th september, these 5 tank regiments launched an attack that reached odd 1/1, causing 300 chinese casualties for a few 50 japs. The japs army is now just south and West of Kweilin....
On River Xi Jiang, (so West of Canton), 18th jap division is reinforced by jap 5th division, tirggering another shock attack against a lone chinese corps on 4th september (20 japs casualties for 74 chinese), forcing my forces to retreat toward Nanning.

Nanning Area
The situation is a bit comlex here. 21st jap div is stuck north west of Nanning; 19th bde attack at Nanning against 3 tired chinese corps. On 5th september, a chinese corps reach Pakhoi from the East, and threaten the 2 japs base force in this base. So on the same day, 21st div launch a (desperate ??) shock attack, wich fail at 0/1 (1000 jap casualties for 26 chinese). Maybe the japs is in fear that i could cut all his supply lines from Pakhoi, but he shouldn't worry too much with the 2 divisions coming from Canton.

Changsa is also under attack. After a week of land bombardement, the japs launch an attack on 5th september, reducing my forts to level 8, and causing 8500 japs casualties for 2700 chinese.

CHINA is under heavy pressure from the japs, i can't see how to save it....let's hope i can delay him a bit ??

CHINA AIR WAR

This is a comfort part of this war.
Since AVG has withdrawn from Wuchow Area (now in India for refit, but there are not enough P-40 of any kind in my pool to refit this awesome squadron [8|] ), RAF sent 605th squadron (was a leading unit in Burma in May).
The main air battle focus around Kweilin and Wuchow.
Chinese 25th and 27th CFS lost 3 I-153 at Wuchow, and then retire north because they are depleted.
19th CFS on I-16 at Sian manage to shot down 2 Ki-15 Babs and 3 Tojo for no losses [X(] in 4 days. Good job guys !

And 605th squadron is seeking glory (like 28th squadron did last month).
In 5 days, the british lost 7 planes and 4 pilots, but they down 44 japs planes (mostly fighters, of all kind: Nates, Zeros, Tojo, Oscars).
FO Stephens score 7 kills, reaching 24 total; FLT Gilchrist score 5, reaching 12; SLDR Edge, the renown leader of this unit, down 3 Zeros on 3rd september, reaching 20, but is wounded, bail out and is rescued.
At least, China cost something to the japs.

6th - 11th sept

DEI
6th sept, Makkale captured
11th sept, Pirang occupied
Koepang is under usual milk-run bombing. 2 Sally are shot down by flak.
Sumatra, 8th sept, jap 81st Nav Guard reach 3 dutch units in retreat since the fall of Palembang. A shock attack lead to the surrender of the 700 mens, destroying the 3 units.

SOPAC
A few milk-runs are made on Efate to keep it closed and to add damages to the port.
On 9th september, SS Seadragon try to catch PG Daido Maru near Gili Gili, but miss it.

BURMA
Moulmein is targeted on 9th september by 82 4E. They destroy 3 bettys on the ground and score 66 runway hits. A raid on 10th september by a lone B-24 squadron add a few damages to the runway. There are no japs fighters to stop me.

Andaman
After the japs naval attack on my TF of AK on 5th september, i decided to send AVG/C in this base to give cover. The squadron has just completed refit (partial refit, with only 14 planes).
On 6th september, 17 Tojo escort 10 Nells and face my 11 P-40; 1 Tojo and 1 P-40 are downed. The tf is unscathed and deliver a few badly needed supplies in Andaman. The building of forts resume.
On 7th september, the jap came back with the same strengh, attacking the airfield. 1 Nell is destroyed and 1 P-40; Major Boyington score it's 6th kill. That's the second day when my AK can unload, but with a port size 1, this is very slow.
8th sept, this time the TF is the target. 9 Zeros, 17 tojo, 8 nell, 24bettys, 62sallys and 21 Helen face my 6 P-40B; 1 Tojo is downed, but there are too many bombers to be stopped. The TF suffer 20 bombs hits and 7 torpedos hits on the 5 AK (no one escape). 3 sink outright. The raid is doubled next day. It cost 2 Tojo to the japs and 1 P-40, and the 2 last AK suffer 13 bombs hits. There is only 2100 supplies left in the AK of the 25000 that should have been unloaded. The TF sail back toward Calcutta, and is onece more attacked on 10th september by 9 zeros and 8 sally. 1 zero is downed by the 10 P-40 on cap, and no AK are hits, but one of them, too badly damaged, sink.

CHINA
The japs keep on moving forward
A jap attack at Changsa is repulsed on 6th but bring my fort level to 7. The japs losses are soo heavy (10000 casualties for 600 chinese) that i decided to launch a counter attack on 7th. But it also fail (1300 casualties on each side).
On 6th september, i launch several attacks: Pakhoi, Nanning, North of Nanning, but all fail, leaving my units in high disruption...
But i can't resolve myself to just wait the bolts from the japs...
On 7th september, the japs launch an attack on Wuchow, wich faile also.
On 8th, the 2 japs units (18th and 5th div) marching toward Nanning violently repulse the chinese corps trying to keep the railroad.
On 9th, these 2 Japs units hammer and repulse a chinese HQ south of Nanning (that was trying to move, but too late).
At Hengchow , the japs arrive in the vicinity of the city on 9th september. I decided to launch a local counterstrike, hoping that my 7 corps and 754th US Tk Bn could repulse the 5 japanese tanks.
Damn, failed: the attack, launched on 10th face a big part of the jap army. The japs casualties are 400 and 14 vehic, for 4000 chinese and 17 vehic.
The jap pressure is more and more heavy....

AIRWAR in CHINA
It still cost a lot for the japs, although there are some days were my 155th Hurricane squadron suffer losses. But the spit is really a good plane.
For these 6th days, my losses in China amount to 19 planes. The japs loose 53 planes in this theater of operation.
Screenshot is a summary of these dogfight.

does your opponent ever fly sweep missions against the fighters deployed in China? just wondering, because sweeps tend to result in better win % for the attacker than escort missions

He does. That's why i am sometimes suffering some losses . But most of the time, he sweep where my planes are not because:
1° maybe he want to "secure" some target where i cant fight (not close base for me).
The screenshot may let you think he never does but
- i have a tool beeing rather random for the screen i manage to save
- i tend to show the large raids when my squadron are facing high odds.
2° i sometime change place where i put my CAP, in order to avoid being too much predictable. Or i keep my planes on ground.
Also, my RAF squadrons are small units (12 or 16) and after a few losses, are no more combat-worthy, so i send them back in India. During the transfer time, and before another squadron come, he don't have to face my fighters. Does this incite him to launch raids with escort rather than sweep ?
3 AND NOT LEAST: i think the average exp can be rather bad for him: with so many air losses, he have more and more hard times against my planes. Even chinese I-16 with 65 exp sometimes down Tojo !
