His forts struck again, this time at Cam Ranh Bay. I am pretty sure that he was flying at extended range so the damage was not as bad as it could have been. My Nate unit damaged three forts during the combat. I am sure that it was a long flight home for those crews.

The 11 year old freighter proved to be pretty tough, and her crew attempted to make San Francisco Bay before the flooding overwhelmed her. However, she did not count on running into I-22 which was occupying the next box in my picket line. I-22 finished the ship off before she could reach the shallows and beach herself. Several of the crew were seen in the water afterwards and local fishing boats were in the immediate vicinity.

Here are the western approaches. Notice that he is already penetrating the Sea of Japan even though that means that he is running past minefields. I will have to focus on increasing my minfields in the Tsushima area.

In other action during the turn, my forces completed the capture of Rabaul, Baybay, Atimonan, and Tavoy.
I continued my terror bombing at Wenchow, and performed a few fighter sweeps over various cities.
Since the moonlight level is now over 50%, Traskott sent Hudson and Blenheim bombers from Rangoon to bomb the oil facilities in Bangkok, but no damage was done.
