Why wasn't Podolski a starter player in round one. When he starts he scores two goals so I wonder if Wenger knows what he is doing. [&:][:(]

Told you I knew what I was doing! [:D] A decent points haul so far this week despite my forwards not scoring, however Ben Foster is a doubt for next week, so both my keepers are injured [:@]

That didn't go well at all. 5 players on the pitch...12 points.

It appears that several of you guys have gone for Chelsea and Man Utd players in the same team. I'm not a big fan of this approach in general, especially not putting attackers from one team in with defenders from the other. If your strikers score then the defenders lose points, if your defenders keep a clean sheet then you've lost points from your attackers. Hopefully you've all cocked it up and I'll go top of the league! [:D]

Picked the wrong time to put in a Man City defender!

Just one game to go this weekend and I'm looking good so far. It seems that several of our competitors have placed many of their eggs in a Manchester United shaped basket, so a nice 1-0 win for Chelsea would help me a lot [:D] Especially if Ivanovic manages to score the goal.

You choose your team and takes your lumps.

With only 1 substitution per week you cant be flexible enough to keep swapping around.

Did you ever confirm the prize was a ride in the back of the Lanc??

I'd settle for the nose turret!!

Well with just one game to go of Gameweek 2 I expect there will be some big changes to the table below. In brackets are the number of players playing tonight. Call me old fashioned but I suspect ezz will be regaining top spot [:D] Look out for Les Paul too - he is currently last but also with 5 players on show tonight.

1. Tired & Emotional (Dixie) – 109pts (1)
2. Last Post (ezz) – 102pts (5)
2. Matrix FC ( th1207) – 102pts (0)
4. Zeta16 (Zeta16) – 97pts (1)
5. Warspite Hotspur FC (warspite1) – 95pts (3)
6. FC Stricker (Admiral Stricker) – 94pts (2)
6. Laralayabouts2 (JeffK) – 94pts (4)
8. Lord of the Ings (Encircled) – 90pts (2)
9. Ormster United (Orm) – 83pts (4)
10. Sardaukars (Sardaukar) – 81pts (4)
11. Les Paul (VPaulus) – 80pts (5)

The same here. Between the injuries, players who moved out and those who don't play regularly (Mata [:@]), I'm in deep.. trouble.

Coming in rather late, is Team Error.
Lineup : Mignolet (gk), Jose Enrique (d), Coleman (d), Ferdinand (d), Jagielka (d), Lucas (m), Silva (m), Lampard (m), Oscar (m), Van Persie (a), Dzeko (a), Etheridge (sub), Dawson (sub), Barkley (sub), Campbell (sub).

Jersey : Think AC Milan
Shorts, socks : black.

*edit* cannot believe I had to leave out Gerrard...

Welcome to the party pal! [:D] Being a couple of weeks late isn't a major disadvantage, it's early enough that some good selections could quite easily see you catch the rest of us.

It looks like we've got another RVP in the league! He's almost in every team, so I'm tempted to leave him out just to prove it can be done....

I've got an issue now that both of my 'keepers are crocked [:@] Which means I have to use my transfer to get a new keeper instead of Sergio Aguerro unless Stekelenburg make it back to fitness[:(]

Here's the league table, some excellent scores from Ormster and myself has seen a lot of movement in the positions. However, this should not detract from the fact that 7 of our 11 players this weekend scored more than the average points total (45) for all players. Perhaps some of the participants are playing down their knowledge levels? It would appear that the number of low scoring games was responsible for my climb up the table as those players banking on RVP scoring against Chelsea were left disappointed.

Podolski injured. [X(][:@]

Curses on Champions League Play. [:(]

I have built my team around Podolski so I hope it wasn't a bad injury but it did look bad.
