A 76.2 mm AA GUN?!! Just you wait until we find that mother bug!
Sumy front: We leave our PzIII behind until the Flak Park is dealt with. I'm sick of the entire world exploding around us every step we take. :rolleyes: Sumy is taken, the last survivors are straggling to get out ahead of our bullets. :p The luckiest ZiS on the front overwatches the East-West road to Sumy, and survives TWO direct hits from 88s! The crew decided to not test their luck anymore and fled like the ZiSsys they are.
Cherkassoye front: Also dealing with the Flak Farm. Here we also have scented the smell of the Mother Flak and kill one of her spawn. (a 37mm). Maybe that'll upset her enough to come forward. :p A Wolverine leaves the safety of the woods and instanty goes kaboom, as well as a Pillbox guarding the entire length of the railway down to Gertsovka. It must have been that one that took out our ACs in the beginning. With that sucker down, the Gertsovka troop is advancing rapidly.
No lost Tigers so far but one is, due to hasty and poor repairs, down both the main gun and the co-ax MG. I will send a despatch to the Workshop immediately calling for disciplinary measures!
Prokorovkha front: Not much to report, the enemy has in desperation started to attack our Panthers with HMG. Fools. We find straggling enemy units in the smoke all around the battlefield and kill them off, at least a platoon less to worry about.

AA guns! We hates them! Not only can't they kill us, but we can't kill them either! So far we've discovered 9 AA positions, which of 3 are dislocated. They just sit there! FLEE FOR GODS SAKE OR WE WILL GUN YOU DOWN LIKE DOGS!
Sumy front: The Mother Bug is spotted! She's taken under fire, but no hits are confirmed! Cautios advance, that frucking flak farm to the east doesn't allow for our HT's to move forward. One of the 37mm spawns are killed.
Cherkassoye front: We're wasting time and ammo on these AA thingies! One more is destroyed and if the other doesn't run now I don't know what will do. We've poured some 10-15 HE rounds and countless of MG bursts onto the gun. He's still there! Other AA positions are still around after 30 shots! Stupid game engine! Some relief as yet another T-34 mushrooms. :p
Around Gertsovka, a platoon (at least) of enemy troops are spotted and sent running home to Olga. Advance continues.

two really cool things to mention...
North..Doom boldly charged a Panther into some "Hot" woods and was blown to bits!
Bel rushed some woods on the very east edge and a Might that is the M4 sent two 251s (1 loaded with troops;) ) to hell...
All along both fronts I still hold a solid line..(kind of) :rolleyes:
and using bypassed units as harassers and it is working!

My flak park is almost kaput and Olga's girls are needed to fire direct..1 hit 2 tigers in the south..
millions and millions of T34s continue to pour out of Kursk!:mad:

I sent in two Panthers to assist the Panzergrenadiers. What?! you say - send in a Panther two hexes from an M4 on overwatch? HAHA no problem I say! *boink* The crew decided to leave their ride before I had the chance to put a hole through it!
In Sumy and Cherkassoye, a brief pause in the advance as we fire away on the Mother Flak - she's down but still alive. Here spawn are not fairing so well, 3 more dead and the last one is damaged. :p We also kill a bunch of infantry, a StuH now has 5 kills!
The Gertsovka troop is met by struggling (new status: dead) units and the familiar sound of a .50 cal. The Wolverine has "seen the light" now, so to speak. :p For kicks, the right guard destroys a pillbox.
Own losses this turn: Z E R O !!
We're closing on the main battlegrounds. Interesting to see what the enemy has hidden there. Pamphlets spread rumors about "millions and millions" of tanks, but the ones we have seen so far are only lighting up our advance.

Whoops, I forgot to post my turn.
Not much, we kill the two last guns in the flak park, a 37mm and a 76.2mm. Excellent, we're picking up pace! We have now secured the east-west road at Sumy, and are setting up new objectives.
In the middle of the battlefield (now far north of Cherkassoye), a speeding 251 runs head-on into another Wolverine! It survives, and so does the TD.... :rolleyes:
Resistance in Prokhorovka is silent, and perhaps gone. Let's hope so, for their own good. A Panther Push is nothing to play with.
No sight of enemy armor. Eyes are constantly peering through tanks sights looking for a counteroffensive.... it must come!
