What was the roll?
There was no interception roll since there really was no point in doing so. We both know that I was going to stay in the area and then there is a new combat roll anyway.

So the combat rolls are made after you commit the fighter.

With a Allied roll of 9 and a Axis roll of 7 there is no combat in the sea area.

A '10' and a '1' was rolled. Unfortunately, for Japan and France, the ten was rolled for the bombing of Lyons.

Germany ground strike two hexes with three bombers. Will France send up any interceptors?

Japan also make one ground strike in hope of getting very, very, lucky.

An MS406 in Paris and a D510 try and intercept the Stuka.

If they survive the D510 heads for Paris and the other for Vichy.

Where are you attacking in China?

Just trying to disorganize the cavalry division on a '1'. [:D]

The Stuka was aborted and even though I shoot down a French fighter I can not help feeling disappointed. [:(]

It survived.

The pilots always survive on low rolls (unless at sea with no naval units).

Edit: If the pilot is killed then the combat window has a 'PX' in addition to the combat result.

I will not use the AA based on the tactical factors.

That was just what the HS 123 pilots needed to hear.

I wish that I didn't have to see what the computer rolled before I replace it with my own die roll. The computer rolled a one against the Chinese division so it hurt to replace it with a 9. [:D]

Edit: Replaced the picture with the correct one.

Japan rail a HQ to the North Front.

Germany overruns the Belgian fighter (pilot killed).

Germany move one corps into Italy.

Axis only makes one attack this impulse.

The odds is currently 38:12. I think that the die roll modifier will be +4.

Will France provide any HQ support?
