76mm has it correct. No AI but its great for 3 players (Axis, W.Allied and Soviet Union) or 2 player, its a spin off of the old great board war game. It's not fancy but it works.

Here is a screenshot of a game of GD1938v3 which is a mod for Advanced Tactics Gold. If you look at the mini-map in the upper right corner you will see that the main map is a portion of a large whole world map. This will give you an idea of the size of the possible maps. As for units I have large armies at division level for all major powers, and neutrals. As for scales you can choose from tactical-operational to strategic.

The mod GD1938 is a wonderful simulation of WW2. It only requires Advanced Tactics Gold to play and is available on the developers site, along with many others.

Thanks for the large response! I was actually looking for details such as:

Map Size = up to 700 x 700
Hex Sale = 1km,2.5km,5km,10km,25km,50km,100km
Units per side = up to 10,000
