For everyone using tracker, here is a new region definition file for you. I have added all the
new bases and set the order to be alphabetical.

After replacing the 6 plane files I don't crash anymore, either the files were corrupted or something else is going on.

Tracker doesn't like my turn 3 data. And I have no idea how to fix the situation.

After downloading the RA 4.0 plane art again, and installing it again, the game can't load the scenarios.
I tried to check which file might cause it, but because I'm not sure if I can only change out one file at the time, I've changed the files according to allied or japanese side. After checking it, there seems to be a problem with one of the files on of the japanese art files.

Hope this helps.

Ken,

Thanks for updating Tracker regions. There will be another 10 to 15 bases once I finish redoing China.

How is everyone doing?

Just sent the Dec 9th turn back to Kitakami this morning.

Michael is SUPER thorough so as he goes thru the Japanese dispositions I expect lots of thoughts there.

Allied Players: What do you think of the layout of Allied TFs? It is VERY different!

The location off Allied TFs is different all right. There was a particular one I had decided would die before escaping the onslaught. There were Japanese TFs everywhere around it, and I had to choose which direction to flee. It was a long shot for it to escape without combat.

It didn't. To my surprise, though, the mystique of the USN Cl in Philippine waters holds:

Yes TF layout is better. It requires more thought on the IJ player to locate them. I just received Dec 10 turn from Larry. His second attack on PH nearly destroyed the Airfield. And put Arizona in a start were she might have to be scuttled. Lets see if he hit PH for a third time....GP

Dec 9, 1941, was not as kind to the Allies as Dec 8. Besides the expected piecemeal destruction of the thundering herd, there was a surface action in which two rather important USN ships were sunk:

Day Time Surface Combat, near Tawi Tawi at 71,89, Range 6,000 Yards

Japanese Ships
BC Hiei
BC Kirishima, Shell hits 6, on fire
DD Mutsuki, Shell hits 13, and is sunk
DD Kisaragi
DD Yayoi
Allied Ships
CA Houston, Shell hits 4
CA Chicago, Shell hits 9, and is sunk
DD John D. Ford, Shell hits 3, on fire
DD Pope, Shell hits 1, and is sunk

Day Time Surface Combat, near Tawi Tawi at 72,90, Range 3,000 Yards

Japanese Ships
BC Hiei
BC Kirishima, on fire
DD Kisaragi
DD Yayoi, Torpedo hits 1, and is sunk
Allied Ships
CA Houston, Shell hits 8, and is sunk
DD John D. Ford, Shell hits 3, heavy fires

Day Time Surface Combat, near Tawi Tawi at 71,91, Range 6,000 Yards

Japanese Ships
BC Hiei
BC Kirishima, on fire
DD Kisaragi
Allied Ships
DD John D. Ford, Shell hits 6, and is sunk

The Kirishima may be on fire, but I hold no hope of it sinking on her way to port. Those two USN CAs would have helped defend the area. Them be the breaks, I guess.
