Well, once you kill of the majority, then there is only stragglers. [8|]

But I guess that the KB in the DEI early can really put a hamper on ABDA!

Boise is giving it one more chance for an intercept, and then heading back to Manilla

Lexington group is flank speeding thru the Marianas...

Several other offensive moves...and preparation for more tomorrow

Probably the last day of the Prince of Wales...

Dec 16th, 1941

Two days have progressed, Japan making progress...tied up irl, family wedding next week, my clan is coming home so the old homestead will be crowded with activities...

Boise went hunting, a risky move, skirmishes with destroyers, MTBs, and a SC SAG (sank 2) and then promptly ran out of fuel trying to leg it back to Luzon getting hit at range by some Mabels. There is an xakl that is headed to her to refuel...and got some fuel into them on the following day before being scared off by a MTB task force.

on the 2nd Day the Boise managed to evade a task force of several destroyers but has run out of fuel again. This time we will attempt to get the xakl to merge with the Boise.

So Boise is still in trouble...

Sboat hit a merchant off Tourane making some IJA troopers go for a swim..

Blundered here, as the Paratroopers dropped yesterday wiping out three squadrons of depleted torpedo bombers (string beans and swords). I don't know why I flew them there rather than Tavoy where other parts of those squadrons were. I bought back the swords as I think that squadron sticks around for the game, but it hurts my future defense of India.

I took too long getting reinforcements to Port Blair...I will attempt to retake it, but I am not hopeful since prep is 0....but perhaps with shore bombardments by the cruisers we can get some effective AV onto the beach. Low odds I bet...should I just give up here?

Getting fighters to Oz really early. Hopefully.

All these destroyer squadrons will go to reinforce Rabaul area.

While Japan undoubtedly marches on either India or Oz, the Allies will focus on the New Guinea front. We can push here without carriers and hopefully do okay until Japan turns their focus here.

Finally getting forces to the East Coast for India...first group goes today. So Capetown in 40 days or so, and from there to India. It will be close!

So, figure Japan heads straight for Ceylon after Java falls in a few days, and then positions the KB off Ceylon to prevent reinforcements to India...fuel is the obvious IJ weakness and holding Singapore for as long as possible. Will they simply just cordon off Singers and move aggressively on India.

Will it be a deep strike on India, most likely I think. Madras or west of Madras I am thinking.

I probably can't get a turn done tomorrow, so I would love to hear your ideas on retaking Port Blair...and anything else...getting the Thundering Herd out...and anything else you guys can contribute.

Port Blair is isolated once Rangoon and Moulmein are lost. If you retake it, you should also retake the Andaman bases to give some alternate air cover to PB.

What gives you confidence that Japan will move into India or Oz? Past experience of the player or disposition of Japanese forces to date? Admit no PH strike and quick Java conquest does seemingly point in that direction...but how much would an alternate drive into the South Pacific upset your current plans? Am interested to see which way this one goes [:D]

Would be curious to see if the early Port Blair landing could be countered like you are planning. Seems risky without fighter cover though...

Port blair landing will be really risky as its in range of torpedos and fighters and without any prep landing could backfire quite badly , i would suggest canceling the operation
